Dolphins players were struck by the speed and elusiveness of Lorenzo Booker in offseason drills. Curiously, his per-carry average dropped every year at FSU -- 5.3 to 5.1 to 4.6 to 4.3, although his suspect offensive line was a factor.

Hope in transpires into Training camp. I think we all agree when I say I hope Booker turns into a Gem.

The cool thing is when he comes into games hes not just going to be a running threat, he has has very good hands and iv herd they are gonna line him up in slot in some formations.

This is a classic back from FSU...I loved this pick...I am happy to see them realize that they got a 1st rd type RB in the 3rd round.

I think picking him meant the end for Ronnie. He seems like more of the back that Cam is looking for, an LT type back. IMO regardless of what Ronnie does this year he will be traded for a much needed high draft pick.

should we have a thread for this every time a website regurgitates the herald article?

I'm not denying the kids speed. He's fast. But even if Cam did pick him to replace Ronnie it isn't going to happen anytime soon. I just don't think LoBo can handle the load just yet.

Besides, Ronnie is still young has both size and speed and has lots to prove to the new coach. Him going to that training facility somewhere in Arizona I believe just proves he is serious about stepping up his game.

Just wait and see until TC and PS comes around. I'm looking forward to a monstrous duo in our backfield.

How on Earth did you manufacture this insight? They are completely different, and complementary, running backs in an age when every team needs at least two. We need a "Ronnie Brown" type and a "Lorenzo Booker" type. We also needed a Cory Schlesinger type of FB who can bulldoze an opening through the line.

I'm really excited about this guy! Everytime I read about him its positive news!

Well said bro!!!!!!!!!

download the bowl game... FSU/UCLA... Booker single handedly won that game for them.. ripping off 20 yard runs one after another.

Correction he was drafted to replace Ricky. Cam had nothing but positive things to say about Ronnie and how can you trade the best offensive player in your team

I agree with what FinAtic said. Does anybody know Lorenzo's 40 time.... or Ted's for that matter?

Youtube FSU UCLA 2007. I tried posting the link but the vid kept coming up.
