The Ravens are scheduled to attend University of Nebraska offensive tackle Chris Patrick’s campus workout today. A 6-foot-4, 300-pounder who reportedly has 5.1 speed in the 40-yard dash and projects to guard, Patrick’s application for the supplemental draft was recently approved by the league office. Other teams expected to attend the workout include: the New York Giants, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins.

Anyone got any info on him?

He originally intended to forgo his senior season and enter April's draft but wavered and didn't decide in time to enter his name. The 6-4/290-pound Patrick is an excellent pass protector but will likely need to kick to guard in the NFL. Patrick has signed with agent Joe Linta.

If we were to draft him, we would have to do so before the NY Giants have a chance at him.

Giants | Team leaning towards C. Patrick in supplemental draft?

Vinny DiTrani, of the Bergen Record, reports the New York Giants appear to be more interested in Nebraska OL Chris Patrick than Georgia CB Paul Oliver in next month's supplemental draft. The team will not likely sped a high 2008 NFL Draft pick on either player.

Played LT if I recall correctly. Probably a little undersized for T in the NFL, which is why teams are looking to him as a guard. Seems like he was splitting time with Lydon Murtha at T, looked ok, but dont ever recall him standing out. Trying to think back to this past season of NU football, seems like the whole line, including Patrick struggled against dlineman with any speed. (USC, Oklahoma, Aub.)
Part of it might be Billy Callahans coaching technique as well.....or lack there of.
If the Fins like him, hope they dont give more then a 6th or 7th rounder.

I don't think we need another "project" on the OL, we have plenty of those. Now, someone proven like Pete Kendall is a different story.
LOL
