Phins met with Flacco and these other players.....

1st and foremost...i just read all this from a new wesbite i found that deals with the nfl draft...so here goes...it was reported that 20 teams have interest in Flacco but that Miami and Baltimore have expressed the most interest so far...thats not all...the rest of the article basically went on to say that if the Dolphins trade down or use the 1st pick of the draft on a position other then Qb, it is possible that they would take Flacco with there 1st pikc in the 2nd round...take it for what it is worth but least now no one can deny that Miami doesn't have any interest in Flacco and that atleats we can admit that the new regime would like another young Qb on the roster...as far as other news here is a list of players that the Phins have met with...

Chris Ellis - DE - Virginia Tech
Martin Rucker -TE - Missouri
Simon Castille- Cb- Alabama
Chauncey Washington- RB -Usc
Erik Ainge - QB - Tennessee
Tashard Choice- RB- Georgia Tech
Marcus Harrison - DT - Arkansas

Castille and Washington were the only ones to met with the Phins..as far as the list goes...love Harrison a lot, great run stopper, 6'3 310 would be a great future nt for this team....I love Rucker a lot and hope we get him,whats not to like at 6'6 and caught 84 balls this season to go with 8 td's....I love the speed of Washington but we have Booker....so there ya go...
 
There is one name that u forgot they have also talked to Sam Baker
have they talked to Kellen Davis i would love to see him in a miami Uniform
 
hey there pal...no on davis...i love this time of year...this Flacco thing is picking up so pace and speed now...people cant say it is a smokescreen anymore..baker is nice as well

its good i would like Davis to visit with miami he could be a Steal in the later rounds
 
I like the fact that we are checking out RBs. It might sound crazy but a lot of our RBs have similar running style (minus Booker, who might be used in a different role) and this is a really strong RB class. I would not be surpised if we drafted a RB in the 3rd or 4th round.
 
maybe booker might be utilized as a # 3 wideout in the slot..just a passing thought..i do half to admit i like washington..i saw a few games of usc this year and every time he touches the ball he is defintely a playmaker

Dont know who marcus Washington is but i do know who Marcus HARRISON Arkansas DT.
 
This is a bit misleading because Jeff Ireland just admitted that someone from the Dolphins scouting staff will be meeting with literally every player at the Senior Bowl.
 
I was going to say the same thing CK. This early in the process, these mean nothing. We meet with every single player.
 
i still like the fact that Flacco is being persued haveaily...the more and more also you read things Henne seems to be 1 of the more impressive qbs as well...

I would love to see Washington in a Phins uni solely because he was my ex-teammate in high school. I wouldn't put him as a speed guy ala Booker. He's really been more a physical type of runner ever since his injuries limited his agility (this was a guy who could juke all 11 defenders in the box in one play in high school). You might consider him a Marion Barber ultra-lite.
 
really..ex teammate tell us more about him ? do u think he has what it takes to play in the nfl ? and what type of role do u see him in if the phins ever toke him
