Phins QB - Rodney Dangerfield aka Matt Moore

Other than PM, who else is "Elite" out there that we can land? Luck? ... nope, INDY. RGIII? ... don't think so, Skins. Flynn or Tannehill? ... think BROWNS.

So we're confronted with reality. Flynn, Tannehill, Moore, Devlin --- (maybe Weeden). Three back-ups and two rooks and no "Elites" to argue about.

Lovely.

Do you guys realize that our team was 2nd in the league behind Green Bay for total amount of "chunk" plays of 25 yards or more? We were. And most of those came after Henne was out of there.

Before the last game of the season, the Dolphins 38 pass plays of 25 yards or more were second behind the Packers 41. Of those 38 pass plays, Moore produced 26 of them while Henne had 12 in just under 13 quarters.

BY THE NUMBERS: 25 - Despite not starting the first four games of the season, quarterback Matt Moore has 25 completions of 25-plus yards, which has him tied for seventh most in team history for a single season. He needs three passes of 25-plus yards to tie Dan Marino for third place in team history. Marino owns the top two spots with 37 passes of 25-plus yards in 1994, and 31 in 1991.

Moore had a 31 yarder against San Diego when he replaced Henne after Chad injured his shoulder that accounts for his 26 pass plays of 25 plus yards.

I don't have a real problem with Matt Moore outside of him not producing in the 4th quarter the same way he does earlier in the game. Moore seems to have a gun-slingers mentality without the gun-slinger arm to back it up.

So what, Tebow also gets the chunk yardage occasionally. Heck, most of his completions in the playoff game against the Steelers was essentially of the chunk variation. Doesn't mean squat.

Matt Moore........

He shouldve been our starter in 2012. He should be our starter NEXT SUNDAY IN LONDON!

Stop pimping your boy and your boy toy threads. The Dolphins problems go way deeper than just the QB issues. From the Head Coach to the kicker.

If Matt Moore comes in, watch him straight up ball. The Phins will score points and the defense will play with serious energy.

Matt Moore is a better QB than RT17.
Starting him over RT17 is an upgrade.
Matt Moore is the teams best chance to salvage the season.
The team and the OC want the change. It appears that Philbin is with RT17.

Doubt it.

I cant wait. I cant wait till Matt Moore comes in and this team starts playing entertaining football and winning games.

Me too I would love in London but I predict week 6 after another horrible Tannehill performance

Well, the old saying about the most popular player on a team is the backup QB. Moore may come in and light it up, but more likely, he wouldnt be much better than Hennehill.

you keep saying this over and over and over, but he still doesn't start. When he does come in and play he does exactly what Moore does, makes a big play then follows it up with a bone headed pick. Fact is, they both suck and this team is jn for a long season that will probably end up being just good enough to miss out on the good draftees and just bad enough to require a rebuild. I was at the time someone that was hugely against cheating like the colts and losing on purpose to get Andrew luck, but I wish we had dome that now. We ****ed up on that deal. At mid season it was us and the colts that were in the running for luck, we had to go and end on a strong note for pride. Well good ****in job guys, now we don't have ****.
