Phins Should Focous on 2006 Draft

Seeing as how Phins will be limited in this years draft and Saban is going to have to work with basically the same team Dave & Rick threw together, I feel that all the trades & moves they make should deal soley with next seasons picks. You will find more teams are willing to deal a picks that they don't see the immediate impact of, plus giving Phins a huge stock pile of picks next season then they can parlay those picks into a trend of trading for following years picks once they acquire the true positions they need. I think Saban want's to see how he can do with the old team use it to eval current players and go from there.

But remember J. Taylor & Zach will be getting older so both will likely be moved to acquire picks for next season.

Sounds good. Im all for aquireing picks in latter drafts. Thats what I do on Madden all the time. Once they hit 29-30 their out the door. I dont care who you are. This is what they should be doing in real life also. But...JT and Zach....Especially Zach, should retire a fin in mo.

All I can hope for is that any picks ahead of us next year DON'T need a QB so we could get Matt Leinart ...maybe a little too optimistic.

i just dont understand people who say trade zach and jason.... thats stupid they are the heart and soul of the dolphins, thomas, taylor,and marino, are the three best dolphins in history marino retired as fin and so should they... The Dolphins need to focus on not trading away the 2006 draft like we partially did to this one. Beyond that, it will take care of itself.

Calling Surtain a cap issue is a polite way of saying he's too old to justify what he's making. As to Booker, I'll just sum up with :shakeno:.
