Phins sign OT, Dan Gore

Former Boise State offensive tackle Dan Gore has agreed to a free-agent contract with the Miami Dolphins, he said Sunday evening.
Gore, who started at right tackle in 2007, chose the Dolphins out of about four possible destinations, he said.

"Miami had the best opportunity and best offer," Gore said.

Safety Marty Tadman, center Jeff Cavender and guard Tad Miller said Sunday that they are still working on potential free-agent deals with their agents.

Played defensive tackle his first three years at Boise. Probably little more than a camp body. Maybe practice squad if he shows some tools in camp.

We needed developmental Olinemen, but now that the draft has come and gone, wouldnt be shocked if we added some veteran competition - think Shane Olivea or Tom Ashworth.

I really like this signing and think he could wind up on our team. He needs to adjust to sliding over and playing guard, but he has a boatload of talent.
