***Phins/Texans Post Game***

This is just not a good team. Top to bottom. Qb, wrs, oline, d line, secondary, lbs. It's a bad team, lead by a bad coach and gm. And people wonder why we lose against good teams. We should have lost to Jax and NY, the worst teams in football.

Every game since he came off IR has been a must-win. This is the first one where he struggled. Of course, starting our 4th and 5th OTs didn't matter, I guess.
I agree, but Tua post-game put the blame on himself, which he invariably does when the Dolphins lose. We all know Tua had a bad game, but the HC + GM are to blame for the product on the field. I have said this many times: I don't care who you get as QB and insert him in this "team", he would not go anywhere either.

Watched this stinker from my hospital bed. I am able to eat normally again and don't have a tube down my throat so I am over the moon, damn everything else.

That being said, it was unfortunately the result I expected. I have zero idea what has happened with this offense but it has been so mealy mouthed all season. I dont anticipate McDaniel being fired but there should be a long, hard evaluation on his play calling responsibilities. Maybe it's a mental thing with Tua, it's not the first time he was flat coming out for a must win game and unless the man changes it won't be the last. It's not realistic to talk about moving on from him either, unless you do a Broncos-like rebuild and wipe the slate clean and live with the cap consequences for a few years.

Still three more weeks of this against eliminated or close to eliminated teams. If you're a fan of apathetic football and meaningless wins, then you are in for a treat!
Thanks for checking in, brother. Missed the real game day thread.

The most important thing, though, is that you are OK and recovering.

Not for nothing but why when we are in a fight for our lives are we always shorthanded to the point of rediculousness at a primary position. Its like we have one hand tied behind our backs. Last year, against the great Mahomes, we signed 2,3 OLBs off the street to play the week of the game. This year, against a team whose best asset is the DL, specifically their DEs, we end up with #6 OT J Carman playing every snap? Last week we started TA and Lamm. Team with a strong front next, of course, a rookie and #6 have to start. I dont care what anybody says, Tua plays differently. Its in his head. You can tell he doesnt have confidence in the OL. Yesterday was one of those times. And yes, this is a Grier thing ultimately because he tries to field 3 above average OL and hide 2. Then injuries leave us with 1 above agerage OL.

We hid those 2 clowns inside when we had 2 good (AJ,Lamm) or great (TA) starters outside them and a solid center. Exposed is the best way to describe that disaster yesterday. Remember Eich getting shoved into Tua in that playoff game and the pass hit his helmet? Same thing yesterday on the fumble. Eich gets manhandled by decent DTs without help.

He did not that CB beat that bad.
The narrative that Tyreek torched Stingley and all Tua needed to do was lead him better for a walk-in TD is patently false. Stingley was basically step-for-step with Tyreek and the ball was released when Tyreek was at the 30-yard line with zero separation.
