Phins Tradable Players Before Final Cuts?

This is a team that needs WRs. Don't expect them to actually trade away a WR. If Gates is worth something they'll keep him.

Slaton was a free agent this off season and the Dolphins re-signed him. He didn't have much interest out there. He had all of 2 carries against the Bucs. What's the delta between when we signed him and he didn't have much interest out there, and now? Trading away guys you just signed in the same off season is very rare. Only time I can remember it happening was when the Eagles traded Hank Baskett. Might have happened once since then, but certainly can't remember another one.

John Jerry might be tradeable and that could in fact be the reason he's starting tonight.
 
If John Jerry starts and does pretty well tonight I could see Sparano pushing the New York Tebows to trade for him. Heck he might even be able to start at Right Tackle in place of Wayne Hunter.
 
I don't think we have anyone to trade unless a team really is wanting a player we will cut for a late rounder.

Maybe it's just me liking Gates. IF we see Matthews as our KR, and are going to cut Gates, I can see another team giving up a late rounder for his returns alone. My thoughts on Slaton are based on injuries, Pitt for one example.

Jerry is starting because Hicks is hurt. I'M hoping he shows the flashes, at RG only, I saw last year.
 
Gates and slaton are not tradable. Would u give a pick for them?

Slaton was cut mid season from Houston a couple of years ago wasnt he? I had had value then they wouldve traded him instead of cutting him. He was also a FA this offseason. NOBODY WANTED HIM without even having to give anything in trade.

Gates is a total bum. Where do you guys dream this **** up? Any WR who would actually have trade value would make this roster in a heartbeat. He isnt even going to make our team. We have complete **** at WR and he isnt even in our top 8 or 9.

Not only does he lack any trade value, its likely no team will sign him once we cut him. CFL is not a guarentee for Gates. He thinks its cold in parts of Europe...... wait till he is trying out for the Argonauts.

Get ****ing real people.
 
slaton tradeable...chris clemons tradeable...even john jerry seems a STRETCH

you might have got a 7th rounder for mcdaniel...matt moore another late round pick before the garrard thing...not much else anyones interested in....no ones in line to pick from miamis backups and underachievers...ha ha

Garner was the guy who replaced Hicks at RG when the 2nd string went in last week. If they're bumping Jerry up to 1st string RG while Hicks sits out the game, it's because they're trying to dangle him in trade.
 
jerry on hard knocks in the lockerroom...all i can say is good god that man was large and flabby..."down to 360" says his position coach...what the heck was he when he reported 375???
