Phins trying to trade jt for lito sheppard?

Just more rumors and conjecture

i hope not, lito wants to get PAID, and I can already tell you he isn't worth whatever he is going to ask for.

"So now, the Jaguars suddenly are throwing 2009 draft picks at the Eagles for the services of Lito Sheppard, which only means one thing. The Miami Dolphins have to be talking about a trade using Jason Taylor. It is the only thing that truly makes sense."

The only thing that really makes sense is this guy has an overactive imagination. THere's been nothing credible to even suggest we've been in talks for Lito. Let's just go crazy and suggest that no one offered us value for JT so we might keep him.... Oh wait, that's to logical to make sense.

Why would we trade JT for Lito Shepherd?everyone talks about getting value for JT.I wouldn't call this getting value,I call this an early Christmas present to the Eagles.
Anyway, until I get an email form miamidolphins.com and I hear about this on ESPN or the NFL Network I don't buy it.

You don't think that Lito is value? The guy is a shut down corner that is an immediate upgrade. I call that supreme value, and would pull the trigger in a heartbeat.

i have always disliked the jags and their fans who were all dolphins fans before they got a team. when your 33 it's hard to get value as a player plus if you go back and watch the film JT was handled buy most everyone last year. there are even tackles in the afc east that have said he is declining.

i agree but he will come with one hell of a price tag. is he worth the money that he wants?

I never said Lito wasn't value.Re-read my post. What I said was that he isn't as valuable as JT(in my opinion).I am not going to be dragged into an argument here because unlike you,I like JT and think he is worth keeping.I don't think dumping a 12 year veteran for anything other than a player with equal talent is a worthwhile thing to do.

I would love to have Sheppard in Miami. We got a lot of line help in the draft, so I think we can afford to lose Taylor and get something in return for him. I wouldn't mind, however, if JT doesn't get traded and he sticks around to teach Merling a thing or two.

Lito's age gives him more value. Eagles would be loosing a playiner with years left in him and gaining a player who will not be around for long

i agree with you, i love JT but he's got what 2 or 3 years left... lito on the other hand is what 26 years old he's got atleast another 6 -10 years and he's already been to the pro bowl a couple of times... i think it's far value...maybe alittle more value on lito's part...
