Phins Voluntary Workouts in Four Days

Anyone care to predict how Jordan, Brenner, and Dallas will come in on Monday? I'm betting Jordan and Brenner come in physically ready to make an impact. Don't know enough on Dallas but, have to think he will do the same.

Looking forward to Daytona and Nublar filling us in by Tues, if not before. lol

How's this for clout: if we continue to be mediocre we will all lose our jobs and our fat contracts! Wallace this may be your last season in Miami and you may not make half your salary back! But win and you're set and will get all that money, so let's get our asses in gear and practice long and hard because the Mannings, Brady's and Brees are practicing and you can bet your last dollar they're trying t be better than last year at all costs!

While this sounds all hardcore it's not true. If the Dolphins were crazy enough to cut Wallace some other team would pick him almost immediately at an extremely attractive salary. GMs on other teams can view tape. They know the problems involved in Tannehill to Wallace on the long ball are almost completely on Tannehill. Wallace has been getting open. Tannehill just hasn't been able to hit him.

Tannehill is the one with something to lose in this situation. If he doesn't start hitting Wallace on the long ball this year he will quickly find himself in Henne territory -- a backup quarterback with a backup quarterback contract on a different team.

Starts tomorrow, the Dolphins just posted some pictures as the locker room is being prepared.

Here is my position on the deep ball: Wallace DID beat his man deep, but the play design was like 40 or 50 yards down field which is a very low percentage throw, obviously. Wallace did not fight for the ball much of the time.

On the flip side, RT can throw deep for explosive plays, but they might be in the plus 20 to 30 yard range.

The "Randall Cunningham looper" is a tough ball for any QB.

I like what Philbin said of a missed deep pass after the Saints game, something like: the pass was "competitive" and Wallace's effort was "competitive." Meaning it was a decent effort by both but they both have room to improve. And I think that statement could apply to pretty much every deep ball between Tannehill and Wallace.

#Stronger?

How about #Better? or #Winning or #WeWon'tChokeThisYear

The unbelievable part; it's someones job to come up with this pap.

They are in #STRONGER mode because phase I is only about strength and conditioning. Makes much more sense than #BETTER or #WINNING. Those sound corny. If you're gonna criticize at least don't be corny.

Damian Williams just said in his interview that 36 guys came in off their own bats before organised activities began. He seemed pretty surprised at the commitment and hunger in the squad. I'm guessing that's not what happened in Tennessee.

I've always considered "voluntary" workouts to be mandatory workouts without and punishments given if you miss them. I'm still curious to see what Jordan weighs in at. He should be eating at buffet restaurants every night.

I knew we should of kept John Jerry for a reason.

Agree. He did say that he NEEDED to work with RT in the off season but, as far as I know, was a no show when others were doing the same. Disappointing.

...you realize there's still about three months left of the offseason, right?

Lies....Off-season is only in February and March....all the other months are left drinking and not caring about the deep ball....

Has anyone seen anything on the strength improvement of Brenner, Dallas, and Jordan s well as what his weight is? I come up empty.
