I was just curious how everyone feels today, as apposed to how everyone felt while N. Saban was the head coach. I know I feel much better now, like a weight has been lifted, and after hearing the ideas of Mueller / Cameron working as a team, I really think that this franchise is much better off now than it was under Saban....

We've got the power where it belongs, and the coaches in place on both sides of the ball. Now we can balance this thing out, and start to win as a team. Cameron seems very focused on making this work, and building a team that beleives in eachother.....

Personally, I'm stoked today, and Saban leaving Miami was the best thing that could have ever happened to us in my opinion. CAM RULES!!!!!!!......

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I'm ambivalent. Every new coach talks about all the great things he's gonna do. I'm waiting to see it happen.

feelin quite similar to you...and extra good because i don't work today or tomorrow :) :cooldude:

im a little hungover following woohoo i got a coach 3 day drinking spree but i got mixied emotions cam is obviously intellgent and up for the task but he sounds like bob dole when he talks so i dont but that what brought cam cameron here kinda sound like bob dole loves you

Im just happy we have a new HC and can move forward as an orginzation. I like Cam and the things he should be able to do with the offense.

I feel good. Cam was the best choice out there and the news that Mueller is a true GM has me very excited. I understand that we may not see a winning season in 2007, but I think we finally have the pieces in place to rebuild this franchise.

I'm cautiously excited.

Starting new always opens up that glimmer of hope that this is the one.

I was pretty sure though that when Saban came in, we would be in the Super Bowl in a few years. Obviously we know how that turned out.

What is exciting is that the emphasis will be put back on the players. We wont have a superstar big name coach, just a smart guy who will work hard. It will be up to the players to create an identity and play up to a level that is competitive. I just hope we can get some better guys in here.

I do like Cams attitude and the fact that he is in many ways the Anti-Saban.

I think what impressed me most about this hire, was the fact that Wayne went outside the box. He didn't bring in the guy Marino wanted{Gailey}, he did what we were all hoping he would do, and that's listen to Randy Mueller....

In hiring an offensive minded head coach, Wayne also is taking us into new and unchartered territory for the Phinz. Every single head coach we've had, comes from a defensive background. Personally, I think it's going to be very exciting to see that change....

I've always wanted an offensive minded head coach to come in here after Marino left, and now we've finally got one, a very good at that....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I'm ecstatic! Cam & Capers the greatest one two punch the Dolphins have ever seen!

Yes, but even Cam admitted in his PC, talk was cheap. With Saban all ya got was a bunch of mealy mouth. Lot of words, but doesn't say anything. I'm waiting to hear MM is no longer affiliated with the Dolphins. Then I'll feel good about the hiring of Cam.:dolphins:

you now how i feel i wsh i was at the stadium getting fired up for an afc champion it always been a drem of mine

I feel pretty damn excited. I love what Cam has said so far & it is cool having an offensive HC for the first time after having abysmal offenses.

I'm glad Nick is gone Blitz. I too feel like a burden has been lifted. The weight of expectations has been removed by my thoughts. I felt Saban brought too much pressure with him.

I honestly felt Carroll would be the guy. I wasn't really supportive of it, but I just felt like we'd continue down this path of one voice, one face.

I really don't have any negative thoughts about Cameron.

But, I will tell you this, I am STOKED that Capers, Houck and most likely Garrett will be staying. I've preached many times that we need continuity right now. And, my #1 priority (hopes) was to keep those 3 guys in tact.

I'm also pumped that Cameron comes from his history with LT. I think Ronnie will FINALLY get a chance to become the RB we've hoped he could be.

I'm still watching my wish list in hopes I'll hear more great news coming down the pike. Keeping Culpepper, Lemon and drafting another QB would really make me feel great. I think we haven't tapped into the Culpepper bank account yet. I still see him as our future for 5 - 7 years. Lemon's a great insurance policy during that time.

We need a wake up call for CC and RM. I think we need one more piece at WR. I just don't think our WR1 is on the roster at the moment. And, Houck needs to finish his job on the line with a C and LT.

I have no doubt Capers will make the defense work no matter who's out there. But, we desperately need to get our young lineman into the starting roles soon.

I'm starting to get excited about the draft. And I'm excited curiuos to find out what happens with the OC position. With Cam calling the shots, I feel MUCH better about that side of the ball.

Mueller's yet to impress me. He's saying all the right things right now, so... we'll see.

All in all, I have this cautious relief. I think we are about to get this thing turned around and I think we have a chance to do it quickly. Amazingly, we've suffered through enough building EFFORTS that I believe we can make all of this new talent work. With consistent drafting success and a few years of making the old work with the new.... I see us finally returning to our winning ways. Which is Step 1.

Step 2 will come later.

So, right me down for a :D.

I am Stoked!!

The more I looked at the cianidates Cam is who we needed!
We someone to make this Offense exciting again....Cam is the man!
So glad Management not go conservative on us.
Cam HC with Capers on defense we should have the making of a great combination!
No more conservative offense!!!
Lets kick as#! :cooldude: :dolphins: :dolphins:
