I truly do not care what any football says, football for us guys is solely an emotional sport: the ups (wins) are as the sky high as the lows (loses) are as low as hellfire. Emotion, that's at the core of our devotion.

The MNF game I felt such lows that the emotional broke the line into the physical! I mean it was like taking a hard jab on the jaw.

Do you (have you) felt it so deeply?

Also, is that degree of pain and indication of your love for the game than that of your fellow fan?

I hope I am being clear here.

Yes...I'm SICK of losing.

No, you're just nuts lol.... j/k. I've been there myself, but not for a long time. It was around the time I had kids that I realized nothing else was worth worrying about THAT much, and just this year something happened with my kids that put things even more into perspective.

Ever heard the term " That made me sick to my stomach "

After that season two years ago, this game was exciting and worth the time spent watching it. We were right there until the last play. It was a heart breaker, but man we have been in worse places. I’m proud of a lot of how we played that game.

when we drafted ginn instead of quinn, i seriously felt like i had been punched in the boys. i can't remember anything like it in sports.

after the texans loss last season on the last play of the game, i felt incredibly sick to my stomach for like 3 days. that loss ticked me off. luckily in the end though it didnt cost us a playoff spot.

Outlaw, I hope everything is all right.

I know losing is part of the deal, but what upset me was how we lost. The last drive was a complete joke. The play calling by Henning was a joke. Chad's meandering to get back to the line of scrimmage was a joke. But, I know i am in the minority, the TD pass to Ginn would have been a spectacular catch and I don't feel that bad that he did not make the catch. We should have been in a much better position if we had played with more sense of urgency. Dan, with gimpy knees and all, always got everyone to the line of scrimmage as quickly as possible. I do not think it is too much to ask Chad to do the same.

That's the one where their quaterback ran it in for the score? Oh yeah, that one was a nasty pain.

I wish the Hurricanes and Dolphins could swap days. It sucks watching the 'Canes dominate on Saturday afternoon and then having the Dolphins ruin the rest of my week. I'd much rather have the Dolphins ruin my Saturday and then have the 'Canes send me off to the work week with a smile on my face.

I told myself when Bill took the VP over "Give him three years to build and then see what happens".

Being a lifetime Dolphins fan there have only been two coaching staffs that I remember having a road map like the current staff, Shula and Jimmy. Shula is the “don” and you can not argue with his numbers. Jimmy wanted to do certain things but was cemented against our beloved Danny boy and when it all came down to the end I hated watching them both leave that way. What a high it would have been if Jimmy and Dan could have both retired with a championship together.

I love the road map that Bill and Co. have in place. They are billing a physical team in South Florida the Dolphins if you are old enough to remember had a horrible record for decades in the cold weather, not last year all the BS about the cold when right out the window and not one reporter or commentator even mentioned it on air that all derives from being physical and conditioned.

I get all worked after a loss like I always do and then I stew about it for a day or so and then look back at the numbers to see what truly went wrong. Week to week this staff is addressing the problems of what went wrong and I haven’t seen that in years for a staff. Give this team one more solid draft to fill a few more holes and I think they become a truly legit contender for years to come. Let us all just hope Steven Ross doesn’t undo all the good that has been done by hiring with the “good ol’ boy” system and he gives Jeff a shot to run the show after Bill leaves.

Dude...
I've been watching Miami since 1970.
My patiance has long since run thin...
Do you realize how long it's been since we won a playoff game?
Never bring up Jimmy Johnson as a plus for the Miami Dolphins.
To me ,he started the downward spiral of the Dolphins.
