Picking two corner backs in both the 1st and 2ND round would be different, but the right choice. For example Hargreaves plus Fuller.

Id agree if we didnt have maxwell but we really only need one number one corner then maxwell at 2 and bobby mccain was pretty solid at number 3. Guard/linebacker/d-end/rb are bigger needs than a second corner if we were to take one at 13

Byron Maxwell is a starter. I agree this team needs another starter at corner, and would be happy with Hargreaves, or as some other people suggested Eli Apple or William Jackson. But I believe the guard position should be addressed in the first three rounds. I'm not sure about scheme fit and I'm just looking at "big boards", but I think Vadal Alexander would be an option in round 2.

Im not a fan of cbs in the first or second rd. Most of their eval is combine and workout driven anyway. They found Bobby McCain in later rounds and he is just fine. They need to do the same here. Other than Ramsey, and Karl Joseph to an extent, no db projected high stands out on tapes.

I like Bobby and Lippet. Lb, G, Rb still need to be improved early

Still would take one, just not two

ha, you think a rookie comes in and is a #1 CB when picking middle of round 1.

Cute. I needed my laugh of the day

Hargreaves might be there at #13, especially if Tampa Bay passes on him. I wouldn't bet on it, but it's certainly possible. If we took him at #13 I'd think that he would start for us this year.

Dolphins did this as recently as 2009 with Vontae Davis and Sean Smith, so I don't think it's out of the question.

I don't think you should go into a draft saying "were picking corners back to back" though. You see how it goes and if you picked a corner in round 1 and a corner you like drops and he's now BPA, then you pull the trigger. Otherwise you just take BPA IMHO

Cody Whitehair....Or we could Conklin in the first and corner in the second depending on how it falls.

How about they just take a look at what is available when the pick comes up and take the top talent that fits our system? Saying "we WILL take this position by this round" makes no sense. That includes CB and OL.

I do think a priority needs to be placed on CB in the first two days, but yea this team does not need to be reaching just to fill a need. Just continue adding talent over the entire 53.

The Dolphins really don't have much of a choice they will end up starting rookies or questionable players at CB and several other positions this year. Just not enough proven or quality talent on the roster. So while some may find it funny that a rookie CB will be starting, it will more than likely be a reality because the Dolphins have no one better on the roster to start at that position.

Here is another reality. The Dolphins do not have a NEED to draft the starting corner, and whoever they draft will not be better than what they have on the roster.

You do not know for a fact that who they draft won't end up being better than who they currently have on the roster. We aren't talking about the Seahawks secondary here. You have a possible quality starter in Maxwell and a bunch of guys who have proven nothing. Wouldn't be too hard for a talented rookie to outplay Jamar Taylor, Tony Lippett or Bobby McCain, lets not get goofy here.

Revis did alright for being the 12th pick.

Marcus Peters. Drafted 18th this past year. Rookie of the year and pro bowl selection.

Yeah I'm ok with a corner in the middle of round one
