Akili Smith was tight shouldered, had tunnel vision, and virtually no touch. I'm not thrilled with Tannehill's late rise resume, particularly given the weakness of Big 12 pass defense, but he has considerably more tools to work with than Cincinnati bought with Akili Smith.
