Pick up Danny Woodhead immediately!

So the Falcons drafted Ryan in the first round and their LT in the second round. Who had the better draft? Ryan and a LT or Long/Merling/RoboShrek?
No the Falcons traded back up into the 1st round to get Baker at pick #21. They had the draft picks to do it after trading away Matt Schaub and DeAngelo Hall.

My bad! So we could have traded our seconds to make that move. My point is they got a franchise QB and LT, while we got Long, a criminal and hot garbage! Everyone tends to overlook that.

So um yea. As I was saying.

Woodhead DESTROYED the Jests all night. Who dosent wish he were doing that for us next week?

Here's a fact for you. Danny Woodhead is better than any RB we currently have on our roster outside of Ricky. I dont know this guys numbers for the season as a Patriot, but Id say they are pretty close to what anyone on our roster has accomplished for the entire year. And that is considering he splits with Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis so dont say one of our guys is at a disadvantage in accumulating stats in that regard.

This guy was ours for the taking and available on the cheap. I wouldve had no problem going into next season with Woodhead, Cobbs, and Ricky as our backs. I think Cobbs needs to start getting more touches.

Woodhead is a straight up gamer. He plays the game smart and he also contributes on special teams. Solid player. Yet, I got bashed for this suggestion of picking him up. He was the only player I suggested all year we sign when they were released midseason.

90% of you wanted Moss. I said PASS without thinking about it. Moss has really contributed up there in Nashville. :rolleyes2: What does he have? 2 catches? And he really opened up running lanes for Chris Johnson didnt he. What a huge pickup Moss was. Have they even won a game since getting him?

Moss is a ****ing loser. Woodhead is a WINNER!

And speaking of winners, how is Matt Ryan panning out in Atlanta?

Credit where credit is due.

You called it dude.

I posted earlier in this thread too, I thought we needed an explosive player and while he might not be jacoby ford, he atleast makes plays.

Problem is I think we would find a way to not put him on the field had we picked him up. We would find a way to make him play bad. Thats how we run things.

Good call . . . but do you really think Woodhead would have produced here? That is all that really matters, unless we just wanted to keep him from the Patriots. Well I think we did that with Pat White, and you know how that turned out.

It's a good call on WVs part but with Berger, McDOUCHE and Incogfatslownito blocking for him Woodhead would become Woodchips!

"woodchips" lol...

we all know these clowns wouldn't use woodhead right if he was here anyways...

Our offense is not Bill Walsh enough to use Woodhead.

How about these "coulda's" involving arguably one of the 4 best "franchise QBs" in the league who just turning 27 is coming into his prime ...which would make discussions like these moot??

Instead of
a. Ronnie Brown and Channing Crowder(3rd round) we coulda had
Aaron Rodgers AND Frank Gore, OR

b. Ronnie Brown and Travis Daniels (4th round) > Aaron Rodgers AND Brandon Jacobs, or Marion Barber or D. Sproles

OR:

c. coulda had Aaron Rodgers, everyone else Saban selected (although I don't know why we would) and Ryan Grant as a UFA

Whatever makes you feel better Vaark! These morons decided to rebuild around an LT and it has failed misserablely the same as Saban! We have no QB, no real rb, no te, a crap oline, reduced draft picks and oh by the way we will be drafting to late for Luck and no good QBs in fa! Next year Willie ****ed worse then this year! All brought to us by Tuna Miedoff!

Falcons no doubt. But some people still beleive an elite Young QB can develop easy without a good LT. Its not easily the case.
Saying that, if we could do it all over again i am all for picking Ryan and Baker :)
