Lets get Edgerin James, Im sure no one is ganna agree with me, but we need experience , He can still get 3-5 yards a pop, and he doesnt fumble that much, Plus hes a better reciever out of the backfield than Lex,

Hes a local boy , Lets do it !!!!!!!!!!!!
 
^by the way there is a huge difference between averaging 3yds a carry and 5, one gets you cut and the other gets you to the pro bowl.
 
he might be a better option than Lex.. not sure if I want two 30+ players as my starting and back-up RB's respectively though
 
My Dad played football in high school. He can still throw the ball further than Pennington. Lets sign him as our 3rd QB! He's got experience.

Yes, sounds ridiculous doesn't it? So does signing a RB thats been cut by several teams and has been passed on by the rest.

Uh...I'll take Lex. He has more upside.

No offence but I think your nuts. If he's better at this point then why is one playing for a team that is fighting for a playoff spot while the other got cut from a bottom feeder? Bro I was a huge Edge fan but when it's over it's over.
 
We do have a much better O-line than Seattle. He could probably be pretty effective backing up Ricky. Not saying we should do it, but it's not a terrible idea.
 
Edge is done, and he cant pick up the blitz or play special teams, NO Thanks,
 
I remember that great third and long call by Henning against the Panthers where Lex bulldozed his way to a crucial first down. Edge has nothing left in the tank. When nobody is interested in signing him, he's done. We're damn lucky Ricky smoked pot. He probably wouldn't be here if he didn't. Give credit to Parcells for believing in him and giving him the chance to redeem himself in Miami.
 
I would like to see us giving Kory Sheets a few carries, it would be interesting to see what the kid can do.
 
Is Lex not doing something right? He hasn't had many carries so I'm not sure how anyone can really judge him one way or the other.
