I think it's time for some return on investment. Let's trade a first or second for a proven LB or RB or two and then trade dion to get a pick back. If we could add a stud LB in the middle, would you trade a first? Most likely position we would draft anyway. Why not get a proven. Then get another pick back by trading dion. We could still have a good draft without a first round pick and two second rounders with Hickey here
 
Not to be a jerk, but your post would be better received if you were to discussed the player for whom we are to trade. It's not like Pitt is giving up Shazier, or the Panthers are dealing out Kuechly. Who is this young great mystery LB which some team is going to trade?

I guess I didn't name anyone because it seems like when you do name players to trade or draft people just reply with things like "not gonna happen" or "we will never make that trade". I was trying to leave it open ended for more discussion.
 
Seems like a panic move. Lets see where we are when Misi, Tripp and Jordan come back. The future LBs are already on the team, they just need seasoning.
As far as RB, kinda the same deal. Moreno will be back in a few weeks and there are a couple youngsters that need experience but look promising.
I wouldn't give a high draft pick for either position right now. Same for guard on offense.
 
But who's to say they wouldn't trade those players for a first rounder? But there's bobby wagner, paul posluszny, Derrick johnson, who we will see on sunday, pat willis would be nice!

Derrick johnson tore his achillies week 1 and is on IR so.....

So would a clone of Zach Thomas! Just kidding! It is tough to get somebody at this point. Everybody is dealing with depth issues and the fact that they still have a shot. I cannot believe I would say this put I wouldn't mind moving Jordan. Find a team that he fits and hopefully they have depth where we are weak (see the complication still?), and get a solid player and a mid round pick and move on. That sounds awful but I think we are unfortunately going to look back if we hold on to him and wish we would have done something that seemingly desperate. Hope I am severely wrong.
