Good for Pierce - very underrated player.

So now, he's a free agent the same year as LeBron, Wade, & Bosh?

But he will be about 33 then and not a star or top 10 player anymore proably
 
This is well deserved, very consistent and been a leader in Boston for years now.
 
Good player. Hopefully they'll get a team around him. Boston is one of those cornerstone franchises that you like to see compete.
 
Um, how the hell is he underrated? He's been an all-star for five straight years and signed a max extension after 2002.
 
peirce is a really good player.maybe he could have ai on his side next season but i doubt it

How many times have you heard people mention him up there with kobe, lebron, or wade? Pierce is a great player and I think he ranks up there in that category

Um, probably due to the lack of recognition he gets around the league. He's rarely up there when there's talk about the elite group of perimeter guys, and he should be. Hell, Vince Carter is more talked about than Pierce is, and that's pretty sad/pathetic to say.

Pierce > Vince
Pierce > Mcgrady
