Pioli hired as Asst GM for Falcons so not an option for Fins if they even wanted him

We never wanted him. Tampa never wanted him. He got a job with Atlanta because his good friend felt bad for him.
 
Never wanted him the more I investigated him.
 
Great non-hire for us IMO.
 
Pioli previously worked with falcons GM Dimiroff in New England, where they were both player personnel guys.
 
funny how time changes things - 5 or so years ago i would have chewed off my left arm for him to come here...
 
Thomas Dimitroff, Lionel Vital and now Scott Pioli. So many chefs in the kitchen, talk about dysfunction.

When you have that track record outside of an abysmal 2013, you get the benefit of the doubt. Considering Miami has had one winning record during that time, it is silly to call out other teams.
 
The Falcons are going to suck again next season anyway, Smith has lost that lockerroom.
