Those Detroit Pistons sure know how to finish a game. The Phoenix Suns, a work in progress, have a knack for blowing fourth-quarter leads at home.

Richard Hamilton scored 11 points in the final 7½ minutes and Chauncey Billups sank a game-clinching 3-pointer with 16 seconds to go to keep the Pistons unbeaten with a 111-104 victory over the Suns on Thursday night.

Billups had 27 points and 11 assists for the Pistons, the league’s lone team without a loss. At 5-0, they are off to their best start since they won their first eight en route to the NBA title in 1988-89.

Flips a good coach, he kind of got a raw deal in Minnesota. Its not his fault Cassell and Spreewell decided to negotiate contracts for the whole year instead of winning basketball games.
Stoudamire is a huge piece to be missing in PHoenix. He is the best player on their team, not Nash. I said this last year and people flamed me, its true, he is the MVP of that team.

With this crew, he'll do just fine.

AH...no he won't....

I watch alot of basketball....ALOT of basketball....and I usually adopt a western conference team to follow all year....(those 10:30 pm games....) and let me just say that you haven't seen FLIP do his magic....YET.

I can't wait!!! Flip can mess up a cup of coffee.

What is is his fault is running out of timeouts and having to have Garnett sit for 4 minutes in the fourth because you can't get him into the game.....

FLIP is incompetent.

Yea the Pistons look terrible right now. Minnesota looks great without him. He made a mistake or 2 in Minnesota, who cares? Every coach does it. Flip is good coach, you dont know what youre talking about, I dont care how much basketball you watch..

Hey, it's the Section126 "come in and chuck some anti-Piston bombs" routine! Good times all around!

What I've seen so far with Saunders is a motion offense that maximizes everyone's talents (especially Rip Hamilton, who's been absolutely incredible), applied to a veteran team that already takes more pride in its defense than anyone in the NBA. Where's the problem?
