Why BUA? PK Sam to Patriots.....I GIVE UP!

Okay, We get Bua......to be the 5th safety on the roster so far......he seems slated for special teams at the same slot as Chris Akins......it seems as if Bua doesn't have a shot at making the team......

Could PK Sam have beaten out Derrius Thompson, Snoop Minus, or Tolver for a roster spot? I don't know......

I always thought that you draft players that can make your team and contribute......(Value)

Well, heres hoping for Clarence Moore or Triandos Luke........Or return specialist Derek Abney.

Does anybody see how Bua cracks the roster?

Both Sammy and Freeman are FA's at the ned of the year. Antwan Edwards is an unknown commodity becasuse hes always injured. Safety is a priority.

Do you PROMISE to "give up"? Please? Or are you just looking for attention? Let us know, because the answer really isn't that obvious

Bua will be the guy who hits the wedge head first on kick offs. Every team needs at least one insane wedgebreaker who is totally without fear and sacrifices his body without regard for personal safety. That's what Bua will do. Special teams maverick in the mold of Izzo, I hope.

At this stage of the draft you are taking a chance with anyone......let's just wait and see, he could turn out too be good. Or he could suck. who knows. Lets not jump all over the pick just yet. I do think Safety is a bigger need than WR, right now though

Bua could be a back-up SS or OLB. depends where he projects w/ us. He'll certainly play ST if he makes the roster w/ gamble gone there migt be a need at back up SS. I thought this guy was one of the guys who came in as atop 20 visit. I could be wrong though. Something was scaring everyone away from SAm and Butler. I wonder what??

Tony Bua will play in more games next season for Miami than P.K. Sam will for New England.

You never know. He sounds like a guy who has a great head on his shoulders, and is a smart player. It all depends on how much he shows in Training Camp. He could be a standout player, or he could be forgettable.

He'll certainly be a ST's standout if nothing else IMO. Give him a shot, and then we'll see.

PHINZ RULE!!!

Boy you have really added to the site with all of your 4 posts........

Do you have anything to add? Or just more of this?

PK Sam, Tallman Gardner, Kareem Kelly......WRs who drop like this rarely make it in the NFL. I would be really suprised to see him make NE's roster.

bua is versitile, too. he was an all-sec guy at olb at ark. before moving to safety last year. like bsqx said, he can be a headbusta on the special teams

Strictly a ST's player. Chris Mortensen said "Fearless kid. Fearless. Will help them out on special teams.".

PK Sam, I was looking at him for kick returns (I've got no faith in Wilkins). Thompson at #3. Tolver, Simmons, Minnis, Newson, etc competing for #4 and possibly #5.

The Phins are showing they're serious about upgrading special teams.
