If you really take a look at this roster do you really see any big time play-makers that can change a game? Jeff Ireland has built a team full of serviceable NFL talent but thats it. He's had his chance with guys like matt ryan, jimmy graham, gronk, jason pierre paul, and that's just to name a few. Start with the offense the QB position is a work in progress. Reggie Bush is probably the closest thing to a game changer but is he on the level with arian foster, lesean mccoy, or jones drew? Probably not. Our WR's blow, TE's are average at best. Take a look at the defense, came wake is an above average pass rusher and is very good but is he on the level of demarcus ware or clay matthews? Not sure about that. Are Linebackers are average at best, yea dansby is good but he is no patrick willis, btw we coulda had patrick willis but we chose ginn instead thanks to randy mueller, typical of the dolphins organization. Look at our secondary, its awful no real play-makers.

Now for example look at the chicago bears, jay cutler, matt forte, brandon marshall, alshon jeffery, devon hester, julius peppers, urlacher, briggs, playmakers all over the field.
Look at the saints, brees, colston, graham, sprolles, ingram, playmakers.

This is a roster full of serviceable safe nfl talent that can win u some games but nothing special.

Reggie Bush can change games. So can Cam Wake. However, not nearly enough on the roster.

On offense there's Reggie Bush, but not much else as far as game changerss go. We had one guy ranked in the top 100 by NFL Network, which speaks to your argument. We have some good players - Long and Wake I'd list as elite. We just don't have enough elite talent which is why the postseason drought continues. I will say this. I think Tannehill could emerge as an elite, or close to elite talent, from this draft. But we clearly lack talent specifically at wide receiver and in the secondary.

We had an elite receiver, which I felt was the top in the NFL and this regime gave him away.

I can't expect Tannehill to survive the whole season if he has no one to throw to.

Reggie Bush is okay, but he's hardly striking fear into the hearts of defenses, especially since we have NO ONE else on O to take attention away from him. I've been saying that we have no real playmakers on either side of the ball outside of Wake since we got rid of Marshall.
The idea that people still give Ireland a free pass is laughable. Our o line is still a work in progress, our running game is underwhelming at best, our receivers are a joke, our secondary SUCKS, our interior D is pretty good, but if Cam Wake was to get hurt we would probably have the worst bunch of pass rushers in the NFL. Ireland has completely failed in his task of building a talented team in Miami. He should have been fired along with the rest of the Parcells flunkies after the 2010 season. What a joke.

Wake and Reggie Bush is about it. Ireland keeps drafting these losers with supposedly "high ceilings". Ireland is the next one gone.

I feel Daniel Thomas can be good, but if your not a passing threat, then defenses will cheat up on you.

No matter who the coach is or what the scheme used, you have to have the talent. I can not fathom why Ross does not see how inept Ireland has been at finding talent. Ireland can't draft and his free-agent signing are just as bad.

Around 50 draft picks the last five years and not one difference making playmaker? Something is clearly wrong with his evaluations if we can't even come close...

Ireland won't be able to hide from the bad product he'll be putting on the field. No way he survives this year.

We're head to four straight losing seasons and counting....
