Overall were just terrible, i came into the season expectin to at least be in games. I actually thought we would be decent. It's lookin like its gonna be repeat of last year. I just had to vent a little bit, its too frustrating watchin the game.

The Defense: Ill start with what was obvious today. The defense was just bad, they looked like college kids out there on the field. The defensive backs and secondary cant cover, cant tackle, and cant catch. How long are we gonna have people like Renaldo Hill and Andre Goodman before the coaches realize these guys just cant make it in the NFL. Boldin and Fitzgerald were wide open all game. Then they cant even take them down, they do those stupid arm tackles and let them gain an extra 10 yards on the catch. You can forget about INTs, they werent even within 5 yards of these guys, they were runnin all over the field all day. Even the linebackers were nowhere to be found. We cant get any pressure on the QB, Warner had all day to find an open guy, which he couldve probably thrown it to the first guy he looked at everytime and got a completion. I just dont understand how the coach's think that our CB's are good enough for us to compete in the league. We went from havin Sam Madison, Patrick Surtain, Sammy Knight, Brock Marion like 5 years ago...to a bunch of losers. These guys get beat on those long plays and look like theyre lost. Its really disappointing watching the D get beat on every play.

The Offense: The main problem here is our Wide Receivers. Not one of them can get any space and get open? It's just ridiculous. You cant really blame Pennington. If noones open whats he supposed to do? He had to throw it away on a couple of occasions. They gotta do somethin, they either gotta trade for someone or pick up like Joe Horn or Terry Glenn or someone whos established themself as a WR in this league. Big deal theyre older, you sign them to a 1 or 2 yr deal for the "rebuilding" stage and hope you can develop some of these younger guys we got or draft someone better next year, or see who becomes a free agent next year. Somethings just gotta be done about it, Penningtons got noone open, hes gotta hit the TE on a short little out route or check down and hit the RB to even complete a pass. By gettin someone like Joe Horn you add that veteran knowledge. He knows how defenses play, hes been around for awhile and has put up good numbers. Ginn/Hagan/Wilford all are just nowhere to be found on the field. Hagan looked goofy after he made that catch over the middle, i think even he was surprised he caught it. Camarillo had a couple of catches. Bess had like two 10 yd gains, i think they should use him more than Hagan. Im just done with Hagan, as i wish they would be too. The running game was real bad but everyone was stacked in the box they could barely run for more than 4 yards on a carry. And if we could get a deep ball or a big play on a pass maybe they wouldnt think we were playin 10 yard football everytime. And when we would throw it noone would get open and you cant move the ball like that. The blocking didnt seem like it was too bad. Overall we need alot of improvement on both sides of the ball but i think the WR & CB/Safeties need it the most.

Special Teams: Why is Ginn not returning kicks? If hes doing nothing as a WR what are we protecting him from? Isnt he a return specialist? We might as well try to get some points from him that way if hes not going to do anything offensively.

Penalties killed us too, stupid penalties. That 12 men on the field was so pathetic. We've been killin ourselves with stupid penalties for so many years now its just ridiculous.

We must remain patient, but I understand the frustration.

yeah i dont know why ginn isnt returning kicks. i guess parcells didnt draft him so he will say how hes used. i understand punishing his time at wr for not producing. but his kick returning has never been a problem. who cares if he gets hurt if youre not using him at wr

Your choice of adjectives is spot-on. We watched the game today at one of the larger local sports bars, and I must have heard the word "pathetic" at least 30 times just from the tables nearby.

I don't know about you, but I got laughed at by Cardinals fans. That's as low as you can get.

it should be obvious right now that Ginn is in the doghouse. he is soft, sparano now sees this and if he doesn't improve he will continue to sit. yes I'd like him returning kick -offs, but if sitting him gets the puss out of him, than I'm fine with it.

and if he doesn't toughen up, or learn how to run routes, cut him

I was very frustrated today, but our expectations were too high. I think you are overly critical. We are better than you are stating, but we got schooled today. No doubt about it.

Dude..I feel you....I'm pissed off ..at the Mall after the game wearing
a dolphins shirt...and run into and get made fun of by (2) AZ
cardinal's fans in SOUTH ALABAMA...who would've thunk?

Ginn not returning all the kicks is a huge gaffe by this coaching staffs. He is really the only difference maker this team has on offense and the coaching staff is taking the ball out of his hands. Bess is good but he isn't Ted Ginn Jr. Right now TGJ can't get open on offense so he needs to be the guy as the #1 returner. With the focus on special team guys in FA I figured that they knoe TGJ just needs a hole to run through so they were getting the guys that could do it. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought TGJ wasn't going to be returning kicks.

It's going to be a long year and I guess we'll have to wait for next year and just let the guys gell and get used to each other, I mean there are 40 something new players on the 53 man roster. Can't expect to win when over 3/4 of you team doesn't know each other or the system. Just get tired of thinking that way. Love the change of personal but really don't see why Ginn is returning kicks. This worry's me as to the thinking of this staff by not putting him out there. What he ran 4 back last year if no flags are thrown on returns last year. Three of those called back were holding calls no where near the ball.

Wow, you guys are really negative, dont you remember that when you say Miami,
You're talking Super Bowl!

Nah, fortunately being deep in the bowels of broward county, it was a case of "misery loving company."

They were sitting next to us, and when Henne rolled out and found Brown in the open the wife and I started cheering...and then the pass fell incomplete and they started cracking up. That is almost the worst I've ever felt as a Dolphins fan.

They weren't laughing at you. They were laughing with you.

Great game.
