Hey guys,

Well the last two years i have been fortunate enough for the dolphins to play in the bay area and usually i try to make it to at least two or three games a yr. Last yr was san diego and oakland. My parents are season ticket holders and just notified me that they have sold my two tickets to the Phins vs. Vikings game :fire: which is when i am going to be back in fl. SOooo i need to plan on another game sooooo i am picking chicago.

My question to anyone in or around the chicagoland area or anyone who has attempted to go to soldier field for a game -- how hard is it to get tickets and should i plan on purchasing them in advance.

Check out EZticketsearch.com. Ive already been there looking for tix to that game because I was considering going to it myself. And theres always ebay and craigslist. Also, as far as a hotel. You might think about the Congress Hotel. I stayed there on a business trip last year. Its located on Michigan Ave right across from Grant Park (where the fountain from the beginning of Married with Children is) minutes from Soldier Field. You could very easily take a cab there. Its probably about $130-150 a night. Hope this helps.

stubhub.com is a good place to go to get tickets. You can always get tickets the day of the game, it's just a matter of how much you want to spend.

July 22nd, Tomorrow, at noon all tickets for the bears games go on sale. You can get them through ticketmaster.

Im going to my first fins game with my dad when they play here on the 5th, im totally stoked.

Congress Hotel is decent, but they've always had strikes going on. Not a big deal, just kind of annoying. The hotel is a block away from my college, so I pass it all the time.

If you do come out to chicago, make sure you visit Grant Park and Millenium Park (about six blocks north of the congress hotel). Totally worth it, its on the same street and if your coming up to Chi-town, its the place to see. Plus, the beginning of November will still be pretty nice here in the midwest.

well thankfully i have friends who live in chicago both north and south subburbs and i have been there before and love it soo sightseeing and hotels are not a big issue for me -- has anyone been to soldier? is there a bad seat??

Da Bears have a loyal fanbase, and I can't remember the last time they didn't have a full house at Soldier Field. So, you better get those tickets as quickly as possible, otherwise you're going to have to deal with a ticket broker and pay significantly more for them. Sadly, the last time I went to Soldier Field was before the UFO crash-landed on it, so I can't vouch for the quality of seating now.

Just make sure to bring some warm clothes with you. The average high in early November is about 50 degrees. You can get lucky and catch a string of 60 degree days during your stay, or it could struggle the get out of the 40s, and it will more than likely drop below freezing at night.

C'mon now; what do you know about cold weather???.......just kidding with you. I noticed your location is Hawaii and I couldn't resist.

I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and have been to the "new" Soldier Field a few times. The bear game I went to last year I sat in the grandstand which is on the bears sideline waaay up in the stands in section 442. The view wasn't bad actually for the price but obviously you're not close to the action. The stadium ammenities have improved dramatically from the old place. I'll be at that Dolphins bears game for sure. Stubhub has tickets but I'm going to try to nab a pair tomorrow from ticketmaster. Other than that I'd say try ebay as the game gets closer.

im going to try and get some 2morrow. i got on today for the pre sale and if u want the password is bears( no caps), but the cheapest seats you can get are 210.00. u can still get the 210.00-34.00 per ticket seats till 8 if they have them. the ones i could have got were sec. 209 which is the 50 yard line.

If you are asking that, you don't know much about chicago. I'd bet it would be hard to get tickets now. They are rabid about the Bears. Great fans.
