With the signing of Will Allen, I believe that solidifies the CB position.

1. Allen
2. Daniels
3. Poole
4. Goodman
5. Mitchell

Here is a realistic plan of attack for remainder of off-season.

1.Attempt to sign Lavar Arrington

Plan B: go after Julian Peterson or Nail Diggs

2. Either draft a DT early, or sign Ron Edwards or Ian Scott

3. Sign Tommy Maddox

Plan B: Anthony Wright or Jay Fiedler, yes I said it!

4. Draft a WR early, or sign Randy Hymes.

5. Sign another veteran safety, either re-sign Lance Shulters or sign a guy like Deke Cooper or maybe Tank Williams, but Williams may be pushing it money wise.

6. re-sign FB Sammy Morris, C Seth Mckinney, and LB Jason Glenn

7. fix mare situaution, or sign a Good Kicker.

heh heh. i wondered when someone would bring up fiedler's name.

there's not actually that many options for us in terms of a veteran back-up. i'd be happy with maddox or griese, and i'd have absolutely no complaints with fiedler coming back. he's a good game-managing QB who took far too much stick for "not being Dan Marino" and, his last season here aside, he's not the type to lose a game for us on his own.

as a backup option, no complaints.

listen i know that fiedler is a good backup but please.....please......lmao

we can not sign fiedler!!!

Do you guys think the signing of Allen means that Saban won't draft a cornerback in the 1st round now? I still wouldn't mind seeing him draft one or a safety like Michael Huff if he is available.

We need more on the Oline than just re-signing McKinney though I would not be unhappy if that happened. We have still lost McIntosh and McDougle while only signing Shelton. Our depth is either (pick one) non-existant or young and inexperianced beyond belief. Big priority for me!

I don't want McKinney back at all. He sucks and that is why nobody else has signed him yet.

If we sign Peterson or Arrington, and draft another O-lineman, we are serious superbowl contenders.
