So, it finally gameday and we get a small, allthough probably inaccurate look at how the new Miami Dolphins play.

Are you watching the game tonight? And what's your plan?

Personally, I'm going to bed around 9 only to get up at 2am and listening to the game on Field Pass. They don't show the preseason here, so I'll have to settle for Field Pass, which sadly won't be the same without Mandich. My boss let me report tomorrow at 1pm instead of 8am, so I'm ready :)
 
Since I don't start my new job until next week, I'll be staying up as late as I can so I can sleep through most of the day tomorrow. That will help kill the time until it's kickoff time.

Glad to see you're still using the "Wes Welker can't be stopped" image. I guess I should add that back to my signature. I lost the original image when I killed my web host.
 
the game is at 7pm central time on espn....correct?
 
Its on ABC, Its 4 am now, Im stayen up till 5, gettin up at 2, and gettin ready for the game, man I cant wait!!!
 
I'll go for a run, do some reading, writing and then at about 4PST I'll put on the orange JT jersey I wore when we thudded those Pats in our last Monday night game :D

Monday Night Countdown is on ESPN at 4PST and kickoff 5PST on ABC

Speaking of Monday nights.....the phins have been a staple of MNF since it began. We have one bad season and now we don't have ONE game on Monday night during the regular season...that's just wrong

But even stranger than that is the rest of our schedule...While I may have missed something (likely this latt\early) but are EVERY one of our games at 1PM est? It sure looked like it to me.

I'm not sure about that....do we play any games on the west coast? Well, I think the reason we've been dogged is because people love to see big bread winners and underdogs....I think that because we've been a consistent team for the last few years and have a strong roster, we can't really fall into the underdog category even if we do win 10+ games. But I'm pretty sure Ricky would've given us at least one game had he been here.

I'm happy that all of our games are standard, Sunday games. Even if it means I need to get to the bar by 10 am. It seems like at some point during each of the last few years, we've had a killer stretch where things like Thanksgiving and Monday nights ruined our normal weekly schedule. This year we should be more rested and have a full week to game plan for each team we play.

We definitely play in Oakland. I think SD too off the top of my head. I'll certainly be in attendance for the Raiders game. I'm sure it'll be blacked out here so I wouldn't get to watch otherwise.
 
well its bout 5 am and im not tired goin to sleep round 9 am est wake up round 5 pm go pay off da rest of madden 06 then wait till the game watch my beloved fins win (knock on wood) then after that i pick up madden at 12am that would be a great day 4me lets go ffffffffins!

that's a good point. We did have some hellacious travel issues the past couple years.

What was is we played a Sat. game one week and followed it with either a Thurday night game once. Or was is a Sunday night game follow with a Thursday game...or both...it was bad though
 
According to the schedule (other than the west coast games) we play at the Jets 9/18 at 4:15pm
 
i like that we play all our games in the afternoon. (sort of) the sun in Miami will play a much bigger factor. Playing at night kind of takes away from our real home advantage.
 
Its now 8:35am in my area and I've been up for 22hours, so I will head to bed at 9am and sleep until 7:55pm, grab a drink and my cigs and watch some football. Just incase I oversleep(which I shouldn't since I have 4alarms set, my cellphone to rin at 8pm, and have people calling me from 7:30pm to 8:15pm), I have the DVR preset to record the game.
