I think that the line of thought there makes sense unless your WR crew is s*** on a stick, and ours is until proven otherwise. I have high hopes for Wallace, Pruitt, Fuller and Mathews and the highest hopes of the current group for Chad Johnson. The group from last year minus Brandon Marshall is weak, imo the worst group in the NFL. If I'm in the red zone and I have a choice of Burress, Hartline or Bess- that's a no brainer, Burress all the way. Hartline is average and Bess reminds me of the passing game version of the old Woody Hates philosophy, "three yards and a cloud of dust." If Burress is good to go you find room on your roster for him when your current group of WRs, until proven otherwise, sucks. We're talking about a low cost free agent pick up, no big money or draft picks at risk.

No, we already have an aging vetran in CJ. We don't need another one, especially one that went to jail for shooting himself because hes too dumb to know what a safety is (unless its the one on the field). This would be counterproductive imho. At Least Chad will be a postitve mentor.

My wife, brother and myself sat next to him at a restaruant in NJ a couple months ago. My wife asked when he was going to come play for Miami and he frowned and said he wouldnt play for MIami, of which I responded, thank god, we dont want you... True Story! I was laughing of course when I said that and he was too, although I dont know if he knew I was serious.. He was cool to talk to but still a jack*** in my book.
