Plaxico Burress

I don't see why teams dont like these guys.

Plax may not be as sellable because hes lost speed significantly,

but a guy like Terrell Owens, I dont see why a few teams wouldnt be bidding for him. I think its a great pick up for Seattle. The guy is still athletic as hell and with that speed im sure he can get great seperation. Not to mention his height.

I think a lot of these guys that are aged but still have some speed are serviceable
 
Glad Seahawks are giving him a chance. Guy needs a second chance!
 
i say it doesn't hurt to see if he can help this team. At the end of the day the point is to win the game ( no edwards pun) if he can put up 3-5 td in the redzone and get 3-4 more wins compared to a 800 yard reciever with 3 td and 3-4 less wins...which one will you choose?
 
For a lot of patterns, size and know-how > speed, because the speedy guy could get checked at the line by a good DB, where the experienced big man can beat the jam, box out and give the QB an angle for a safe throw all within a short amount of time. Also, a guy like Burress could be really valuable on running downs because his size could really help sealing the edge.
I really have no idea though how he compares to guys already on the roster like Wallace, who's also pretty big. Marlon Moore was on the up until getting hurt last year. Also, isn't that Cunningham guy a Plaxico-Style player as well? He probably won't make the team. Fuller is also really big. It depends on the money; a guy who's been in the league and gotten it done on the biggest stage is definitely worth some money, but if he can't be a difference maker for this team then it's not a good direction to go. If Miami is still in some kind of rebuilding mode, then Plax makes no sense here.
