I'd love to see one or the other take charge but, I thought they both played well last night....Gusketeers is just a word to describe the people that hate Feeley and think Gus produces honey from his gonads....it's got nothing to do with how I feel about Gus. :)guido13 said::yeahthat:
I have nothing against Gus. And if he proves to be the better QB; I WANT him there. Too many people are taking sides. I want the best guy and I'm not convinced either way yet.

Wow, I hadn't thought of that but you're right. Frerotte was earily similar to Fiedler last night. Nice pick up!GRYPHONK said:Excellent, excellent post.
I stated before I liked both QB'S. Only because Frerotte got some "Lucky catches" was his overall performance better. Not knocking Frerotte he still had a solid game.
Feeley is definitely more accurate and has the stronger arm.
Frerotte is more comfortable and fluid.
That is just a plain fact.
Feeley showed the better passing yesterday where as Frerotte showed better pocket awareness and patience.
Either way both played solid. This is coming from someone who despises Frerotte.
LOL u really wanna know what is so funny about the Frerotte lovers of last night game is?
Frerotte, when leading the offense, looked very much like a Fiedler led offense. Over threw and underthrew many passes making receivers break stride having to make adjustments and make great catches.
Now the irony is that the way Gus played is exactly how Fiedler played. Yet Fiedler gets bashed and critiscized for those some outcome on his passes and plays, where as Frerotte gets praised and worshipped by some lol!!! Oh the irony.
As long as you are not named Fiedler u can under and overthrow your WR'S. As long as u don't have the name Fiedler u get credited for "Putting the ball where only Gilmore could catch it" even though Frerotte admitted it wasn't intended for him but a TE and the ball slipped out of his hand. LOL!!!!
read what I wrote...It's exactly what i saw...as soon as he planetd his back foot on his drop. Brown grabbed his arm....He did NOT stand back there until he was grabbed...he JUST got there....FiN.in.RI said:That's exact;y how I remembered the game.. Good post inFINS. It doesn't back anything up though. I know that, personally, I'm not saying Feeley was horrible when he had all day to throw I'm saying he was horrible when he had to improvise to make things happen. I'm saying before Brown got him on the arm from the back Feeley should have stepped up. That's what good QB's do. The pocket was closing in around him and he just stood there until he was grabbed.
