Didnt get my weekend USA today, can anyone let me know who the announcers are for the game on TV?? Tks
 
greg gumbel and dan dierdorf are the announcers for the dolphin game
 
I can't stand Dierdorf. I don't know why, but I would rather have just about anyone else doing the game. Maybe it is just me, but I hope he develops broncitis for a couple of hours tomorrow.
 
i actually dont mind dierdorf. he did well with enberg before. i cant stand greg gumball, though. he doesnt seem to have a clue
 
I like Dierdorf when the Dolphins are winning...he seems like he gets carried away and makes a big deal of whoever is winning and says nothing about the team that's losing.

Maybe that is why I don't like him. I'll try to put aside judgement and give him at least one more game.
 
dierdorf is horrible. actually i can sum it up for u all........pretty much all of the announcers suck. phil simms and jim nantz are decent, but nantz is more of a in the studio guy not play by play. the rest of the cbs guys are very bad. then on fox.........troy aikman is pretty good, but joe buck is sooooooo bad. he doesnt have much of a clue bout what is going on and he constantly makes stupid jokes. i mean, just tell me what the hell is going on buddy. michaels and madden are ok, they have made a good team so i dont mind them that much. turico is horrible, he focuses on the officials and not the game. i like kornheiser.....mainly because he really pisses of theisman who is a complete a**hole. i dont listen to the radio guys that much, but i know our guy, jimmy ciffalis, is horrible. so my best advice when watching a game, find the mute button and use it.

Sadly I agree with most of what you said. I would have to say Simms and Aikman are about the only decent ones.
 
I like Gumbel. At least he can raise his voice. Nantz is a classy guy, but he isn't a play by play announcer.

I thought I was the only one who did this. I ALWAYS MUTE THE GAME. Sometimes, I unmute it to hear a penalty call or something like that. I get my audio from a Dolphins source on the Internet. Otherwise, I have to listen to biased people bash the Dolphins too much.
