The playcalling is what cost us that game.

1st- How can Wes keep us alive and get us down the field pretty easy the first half only to be benched and not show back up until the 4th qtr when we are down.If a guy is hot he is hot!FEED HIM!

2nd-Our D playcalling has to change.our only sacks came when we did NOT blitz. But yet every 3rd down we would blitz and not even man up on the WR's .No we would play 2-3 yds off and the Steelers chewed us up.Just play D and let our hourses aply the pressure and just cover the WR!
Every time we blitzed it seemed like ever guy was trying to blitz through the same hole.once the first guy got blocked it just jammed up the rest of them.

you cant blame one call or play calling...the dolphins lost in the 4th quarter..offense, defense didnt get it done..steelers is just a better team as of now..we need to improve every week and get better

lets just get ready for the bills next week

I can blame the playcalling! We are back to the Dang wanny days of okay we have the lead now lets just play not to lose. How do you keep Wes on the sideline when he was our whole O the first half.

Wes Welker is our Starting Kickoff Returner, Punt Returner, and usually #3 Wideout(tonight he had to be #2 for a while). Are you seriously sitting there imagining that Welker is some kind of god and just doesnt allow himself to get tired & exhausted?

Especially after the big plays he had early on, and we were still relying on his return ability.

Im also questioning whether or not you even paid attention during the wanny years, because there is no way in hell you could compare the two after what I watched us go through then.

if you want to blame something, how about the defense giving up 80 something yards for a td and with the lead at that

or pep's ints..you just cant blame one thing on why we lost...we lost to a good team in pittsburgh

If you want to blame play calling, blame the idiot who called that pitch play on 3rd and 1.5 at the steelers 43 yard line. We were up by 3 and driving with 6:32 left in the game. Then ......................Mularkey went brain dead and called a play that had no chance of success. Daunte should have changed the play.

wrong... a 80 yard td by a tight end that wasn't really a touchdown is why we lost.....

Hey, didn't I say something about bad playcalling 2 weeks go and get shot down for it?

Anyway, no, playcalling wasn't why you lost this game, believe it or not, two interceptions did!

Elliot, could not agree with you more !! I thought the pitch call was nuts. The way the Steelers were penetrating all night why would you call a play and throw it nack 5 yards. I would have pounded Ronnie twice or snuck with Pepp and tried for the first. That would have taken another 3-4 minutes off the clock. You are correct, bad bad call at that point.

I am still dwelling on it now. 3d & fraking 2. After sitting threw a Pitt timeout that is what they came up with. man this will stick with me until the next game.

the call I didn't like was after we recovered the fumble at the goal line. Cpep moved the team over mid field. They were looking at 3rd and 2 and called the pitchout to Ronnie Brown that lost yds. At that point in the game, and the position I the field. I would have like to see them pound it in there. If you can't pick up 2 yds in two plays, well you get the idea.

Blame

I could say alot was to blame, but having to Steelers backed up at their on endzone with 3 and 13 and to have hands to the face called and give them to ball 1-10 that was bad. The DB got a ear full from Saban hey its one game if the Dolphins can learn from this hopefully they will see the Steelers again in the playoffs.

Playcalling was not the issue, except for the bad call when we had 3rd and 2 at the Steelers 41 when we're driving for a score that could have iced the game. The main issues were that the line could not open any holes in the running game, and the Dolphins D could not generate any pass rush whatsoever, which allowed Batch time to do whatever he wanted.

Culpepper Had a lot to do with the loss

Culpepper was very inconsistent last night there were a lot of what appeared to be easy passes that he just missed. The off target passes also seemed to come on third down on a play that would have gotten a first. Maybe it is because of his small hands, getting a good grip on the ball when you have to get rid of it quickly maybe challenging. I also thought he had plenty of time but always seem uneasy when dropping back on plays that a deep ball wasn't called. I also think Chambers's drop pass in the endzone was unacceptable, that entire series was pretty bad,
