It's 3rd down & 2, little over 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter, down by 7, on the Atlanta 12 yrd line, you have Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown in the backfield, and you call a pass play!! I couldn't believe it, you have 2 downs to get 2 yards with 2 awesome running backs.

And everyone saw it coming. Whenever Ronnie and Ricky are together, it is a pass play. Unbelieveable. Linehan must go. Frerotte sucks and I think is Linehan's secret lover. It's upsetting cause we're beating the piss out of teams in the trenches on offense and defense. And they cannot bring down our Running Backs.

On the subject of playcalling, could we have one third down on defense and not call a blitz?

serious though, how many times did Atlanta convert on 3rd down yesterday, I think almost everytime, and they weren't 3rd and inches either. Atlanta had 17 first down in the first half alone and Miami had 5, I think.

That was due to too many guys blitzing. We need to just drop back in coverage more and fake the blitz. Especially against Micheal Vick. I hate that guy. He is such a punk.

i started another thread about this...i don't know why we don't do the toss left to ronnie more. he always gets yards on that, even when it is covered.

Horrible call at the end. We were running very well on their D ... hmmm, lets see ... I know, lets throw the ball to pick up the two yards. :shakeno:

I AGREE!!!
Why do you have to put the football on the air when your QB is below average???
Why do you put your team in bad field situations with stupid plays (reverse, reverse fake with pass I think, fake reverse ...)
Why do you always throw a pass with R&R in the field???
Why every $%& team score a TD againts our D, in the first Offense?

I so mad, so sad... :fire: :yell:

And to make it worse they didn't even throw to the endzone...I agree with you 100% on that...Ronnie would have easily picked up that first down with 3 defenders on him...Horrible play calling especially when you know your QB is below avg...:fire: ..Somebody better pay for that mistake.

That could have been by design. They may have wanted to milk the clock some more. There was a little under 3 minutes left, and a TD at that point would have left ATL with plenty of time to get into FG range and win it. Linehan might have felt it was a better move to get the first down, milk more clock, then pound it in from there.
