Re-sign
Langford (never injured and very consistant), V.Carey (back to RT and wants to stay in Miami), Merling (always thought better suited to LDE), Will Allen.

Re-structure
Tont McDaniel, Y.Bell

Cut
Solai (only plays 50% of snaps, as valuable as a nickel corner IMO)

FA

Jeremy Zuttah OG/C (replaced Davin Joseph 2010 at G and then Jeff Faine 2011 at C, very underrated and only 26) , Dan Connor (obviously not as good but reminds me of ZT, what he lacks physically makes up for with football intelligence).

Draft
Trade with Bengals (Miami 1st & 2nd for Bengals #17, #21 & 4th) who are looking to sign RB & CB with first two picks. This would allow them to pick up Trent Richardson and one of numerous CB expected to go top of 2nd round

1a - Whitney Mercilus - DE/OLB
1b - Ryan Tannehill - QB
3 - Trumaine Johnson - CB/FS
4a - Ladarius Green - TE
4b - Nate Potter - OT
5 - Marvin Mcnutt - WR
6 - Carmen Messina - ILB
7 - Winston Guy Jr - SS

look to sign - David Paulson - TE & Neiko Thorpe - FS

Roster

QB - Matt Moore - Ryan Tannehill - Pat Devlin
RB - Bush - DT - Jerome Messam
FB - Clay
WR - Marshall, Hartline, Bess, Gates, Mcnutt
TE - Fasano, Green, Paulson
LT - Long
LG - Zuttah
C - Pouncey

DE - Wake - Mercilus - Merling
DT - Starks - Langford - Odrick, Tony McDaniel
OLB - Dansby, Burnett, Misi, Mitchell
ILB - Connor, Messina
CB - Davis, Smith, Will Allen, Wilson, T.Johnson
FS - Reshard Jones, Chris Clemons
SS - Y.Bell, Winston Guy Jr

a 34 nose as valuable as a nickle corner...i hope that means its very dang valuable cause without a solid nose the 34 is toast and the way teams go to so many spread wr sets etc a nickle cb is a big time must...you basically have 3 starting cbs in todays nfl

And another year of Odrick in a backup role . . . man we really screwed the pooch in that 2010 draft.

odricks a starter as far as i'm concerned...he's the most talented interior pass rusher on this roster

No disagreement there, but Norm has Starks and a freshly resigned Langford ahead of him . . . . I feel we could have done more in 2010 instead of adding to what was already the deepest position on the team.

Since the team is moving to 4-3 Defense Solai is gone.

solia and langford both walk...well at least langford but sounds like solia also...making odricks a starting 43 dt...which i personally think is his best fit anyways

We should only take the two #1 and their #2 and flip picks in three and fourth rd and give a next yr 5 or something like that. Regardless we are sitting in a position of power (so to speak) relative to the available QBs.

Flynn (we have the inside track)
Tannehill (we have the inside track)
RGIII (we have the school connection but also this idea we go this route, we all in and FA is going to be our draft)
Manning (its a win/win - cause if not use, it will free up RGIII or Flynn or Tannehill, thus we maybe able to trade down or use FA on other non-draft rich/value needs) like OG

I love Odrick and although I got Starks and Langford of him, there is not many DE's that come into league starting. Even Aldon Smith was rotated in on specific passing situations.

I would prob start with a base of - Wake - Starks - Langford - Odrick, then on passing situations - Wake - Starks - Odrick - Mercilus, but much like the Lions and Titans, I would have a lot of rotation.

I would not lose Langford. Guy plays nearly every snap and is never injured. Much like the Steelers I would want to reward guys looking for 2nd contract who have performed throughout their first. Also, unlike Solai, with Langford I would not be worried about a dip in performance once he has received the big contract.

i want this team

wake starks odrick (mario)williams
dansby kuechly burnett
davis nelson jones wilson

offense:
WR: marshall, meachem
TE: fleener, clay
OL: long, incognito, pouncey, grubbs, jerry
RB: bush
QB: Peyton

if we're going to switch to the 4-3, we have to go all in. the keys to the 4-3 defense are DE's and MLB. We need a real MLB to get this thing going. Kuechly could be everything Zach was and more. could probably drop a few slots and take him, and pick up a 3rd in the process. i honestly think that would be a top 3 overall NFL defense.

if peyton is healthy, tell me thats not a Super Bowl contender with a straight face.

So u think he is a certain HOF?

I like the team, but signing, Peyton, Grubbs & Mario Williams..........how?

Tony&Yeremiah would be the only 2 players you'd restructure the contracts of? You wouldn't restructure Dansby&Marshalls' contracts to free up more cap space? Brandon,Karlos,&Jake are the 3 players we have who count the most against our cap space,so i'd start with them first in re-doing their contracts to free up more cap space. Yeremiah, who counts around 6.3 or 6.8 million against our cap, would either get restructured or get cut.

I love the idea of trading picks with the Bengals. I'll work with that.

Re-sign:
Philip Merling
Will Allen

Re-structure:
Jake Long
Anthony Fasano
Tony McDaniel

Cut:
Yeremiah Bell

Walk:
Paul Soliai
Kendall Langford
Vernon Carey

FA:
Matt Flynn (everything we've heard of our future offense seems to suggest that it follows a WCO style which means a lot of short passes, slants etc. I don't believe Moore is accurate enough to run it effectively)
Robert Meachem (#2 receiver, no brainer)
Reggie Nelson (Kevin Coyle connection, need at safety, another no brainer)

Draft (after trading Miami's 1st and 2nd for the Bengals two 1sts and 4th)
1a. ILB Donta Hightower Alabama
1b. OT Mike Adams Ohio State
3. DE/DT Jared Crick Nebraska
4a. TE Ladarius Green Louisiana-Lafayette
4b. SS Tavon Wilson Illinois
5. ILB J.K. Schaffer Cincinnati
6. OT Jarvis Jones Oklahoma
7. OG Chris Jacobson Pittsburgh

Roster:
QB - Matt Flynn/Matt Moore/Pat Devlin
