Hey gentlemen I am new to finheaven and this is my first post. With the team playing as bad as they have this forum gives me a chance to vent.

I wanted to comment on the dolphins inability to get there so called play- makers the ball in positions where they can make a play. It kills me to see other teems on sundays find a way to get there play makers a chance to make a play. I agree with many on this forum with the fact that chambers is not a top teir reciever in this league. But i mean comeon he is better than booker and welker(at least talent wise) and it just seems like the play calls or the q-b just never look his way. This has happened with both DC and Joey. Has any body been able to break down film and see if this guy is just never open or is it our scheme?

Then it comes back to getting your best players a chance. Is it me or is Saban and co. just sabataging ronnie's career. The kid needs the rock in his hands and it seems to me that they never allow him to get into a rythm. This is the second week in a row that he does not run the ball in the 4th quater.I know we have been coming from behind but i still belive that getting the ball in the hands of our best offensive player gives us the best chance win. And it still baffles me how we can keep sammy morris in on important third down plays when when ronnie is a far superioir blocker/play maker. Its not like e can be tired, we never give him the dam ball! Ronnie is a beast and we dont utilize his skills and that falls back on the play calling!!

I agree. Ronnie Brown doesn't get nearly enough chances to make plays, week in and week out. Why draft him at #2 overall if you're going to give him 15 rushes a game? He's a banger, he gets better later in the game. If he would get 10-15 touches a half, he would be putting up very good numbers.

The thing that happened with Chris Chambers is that teams know who he is now. Before last year, he wasn't thought of as a threat. But, a Pro Bowl has put a lot of attention on him. Also, he just doesn't get open a lot.

There are an obscene amount of dropped balls every game. You can't fault any QB when they put the ball in the receivers hands and they just drop it, or tip it to the other team for an INT.

Believe it or not, our biggest playmaker right now is #3. But the key, is balance. Having him throw 62 passes a game is not going to end up in a lot of wins. If Ricky returns next season, I think that will help. If RB gets 20 rushes, RW gets 12, and JH throws 30 passes, I like that balance.

We have no playmakers on Defense. We have a lot of old players past their prime, and a few young guys with a lot of talent. They don't cause turnovers.

Yes, I've recorded every game and many times he is just not open down field and there are many times when he is wide open and they just don't see it or over throw him.

Chambers is not a deep threat. He should be our possession receiver. If you recall, last year he struggled the same way the first 10 games until they moved him over to the slot. Then he tore sh..t up and made the Pro Bowl.

This year, Welker has played the slot. Thus the reason why Welker has looked pretty good. They need a new speedster and move Chambers down to slot.

To me we should cut Booker and replace him with Calvin Johnson.

Re-sign Vick and Welker and have a WR corps of:

Calvin Johnson
Chris Chambers
Derek Hagan
Marcus Vick
Wes Welker

As far as Ronnie Brown is concerned...you can't run the ball when you don't have the time left in the game to do so.

When we are down...we are running against time and need to pass the ball to stop the clock and pick up big yardage. Also, when we try to early on, we are stuffed and end up in 3rd and long too much. Thus, giving up on it by the time the 4th quarter draws nigh. I agree with the 3rd down part though. Ronnie is built to play 3rd down back. I guess that by 3rd down he's tired?? I don't know the answer to that one.

You say that everyone knows Chambers now and that's why he doesn't get open???

So nobody knows Steve Smith??? Nobody knows TO??? I'm sorry bro, you can't get that one.

I agree that we need another playmaker on Defense though. But Taylor is a playmaker on the DLine and Thomas is a playmaker in the linebacking. We lack a playmaker in the secondary.

Also, JH is not our #1 QB, so get used to the fact that DC is our QB next year.

welcome to finheaven bro.

first.. ronnie doesn't get enough touches. totally agree.
second... our defense is fine. we gave up more points than usual today. Our secondary needs major help. it was nice to see jason allen gettin some time in.

third. QB situation.
all int's aside, since thats all we talk about lately.
joey is not accurate. watching the last few games I have come to this conclusion. he's just plain not accurate. I agree when its a tipped int, not all joeys fault. However, I lost count today how many balls were thrown poorly.
overthrows, underthrows, behind receivers way in front of receivers. He is not the future of any franchise. hopefull saban does some hard thinking in the next two weeks.

as far as not having time to run the ball. we pretty much abandoned the run in the middle of the third quarter. for what reason I don't know. I guess mularkey just loves the shotgun formation that much. we had plenty of time to keep pounding the rock today and for whatever reason we didn't.

we were in the hurry up, (if you wanna call it that) at like the 5 minute mark in the fourth. except three different times I counted where we wasted over 15 seconds gettin the play off. this is where JOEY has TO BE A LEADER and get everyone hustling. nobodys gonna bust there *** if the QB isn't. piss poor clock management on the last drive. just disgusting.

It is my hope that cpep goes back in against chicago and we just roll with him the rest of the year. get some chemistry going and win or loose learn from our mistakes and just try to get better.
joey tried but I don't see how anyone with clear vision thinks hes our best option.

Thanks alot for the insight... i look forward to reading more about all the information you guys have to share.
