Didn't see this posted but the biggest play of the game was made when Gus Frerotte got away from massive pressure, rolled out to his right, and LAUNCHED a bomb down to Marty Booker. Later in that possession, Ronnie Brown lost the football, but the Chargers got the ball waaaay deep in their territory, where Yeremiah Bell knocked the ball out of Brees' hands to keep the ball deep in Charger Territory, where Mare made it a two possession game.

That play isn't getting as much press as it should.

How bout the saw blitz on 3rd down at the end of the 1st half that forced the punt? HUge play in retrospect.

Is that the sack that took them out of FG range. Cause that was huge, instead of a touchdown or field goal it knocked em back out of FG range and it ended up being the game changer if you think about it.

Yeah, that was pretty big. I think the biggest play was when Gus hit CC in the end zone for the second time.

I think that there where to many great plays to just point out one. The 2 CC Td's/the husg sack/the deep pass to Booker/the fumble at the end/Mare's fumble recovery. All of them in my eyes could have been the play of the game!!

I would agree, have Ronnie not fumbled the ball away... after that, the play didn't mean as much.

why is no one mentioning the Zach Thomas takeaway/int in the first half. just forced the ball from Gates' hands

Because Ricky fumbled the very next play.

That play was absolutely amazing. Gus made some nice ones today, but I almost fell off my stool for that one.

That was a great play, I was at the game and sitting in the endzone. Saw the ball coming towards me and thought, Gus just threw what, wow. What a great game to go to, had a lot of funs, and it was nice to see so many Phins fans there.

I think the GREATEST play was made by MARE!!! HIs fumble recovery resulted in a TD! Kickers are not usually that far down field!!!

THAT WAS THE GREATEST PLAY OF THE GAME... IMO!  :D

It meant plenty regardless of the fumble. IF the dolphins dont convert that third down, they punt, and the ball probably sits at the 20 or more, and the Chargers are only down six. After the brown "fumble", the Phins made a play in field goal range to give Mare a shot to make it a 2 score game. No guarantees if the Dolphins make that play that deep into the territory if the Chargers start out with some breathing room on that drive.
