hate to beat a dead horse, but the officials blew ANOTHER call that had a tremendous impact on the outcome of the game. fact is I'm getting pretty tired of this **** cause they arent blowing calls that are helping us win....but the opposite
At this point this team isnt good enough to overcome poor officiating, most teams aren't...and while a blown call alone didnt lose this game, it didnt help either, and thats been the case in 3 of our losses.
I'm surprised I havent seen this already somewhere. If you go back and look an the play in the first possesion of the game for the Ravens that Charlie Anderson sacked Flacco and caused a fumble which Miami recovered deep in Ravens territory, Anderson WAS NOT offsides. The officials blew the call.
Andersons first movement suprisingly wasnt forward but upward, and as he started moving the ball was snapped. no part of his body however was across the plain where the ball was spotted. So tough call, but an incorrect call that changed the complexion of the game. If the correct call is made, the dolphins probably add some points and now the ravens are playing catchup with a defense that has spent a large portion of the first quarter on the field.
Edit: I taped the game and watched this play frame by frame in slow motion. It really wasn't even close. Anderson was not moving forward when the ball was snapped.
