I'm watching the 5:30 - 6pm episode today which focuses on the AFC matchups for week 9....

I understand that the Colts/Patriots game is the "game of the week"...but they have spent more than 20 minutes talking about this damn game!

Sheeeesh!

Is there an echo in here? I know it's the game of the week...but spending 20 minutes of a 30 minute show is overkill.

When we had the game of the week against the Panthers they spent all of 2 minutes on it.

Our game was game of the week because of the outcome, hence it was named after it was played (actually it wasn't the game of the week, there are like 3 games of the week). However, this is the game of the week going in, so they break it down beforehand. Actually, this game has been one of the best matchups of the year IMO. Also, playbook is shown everyday. There are two and a half hours devoted to the show, M-F.

No, it was the Bud Light key matchup before the results as well.
