First, this is not a Coach Philbin bashing thread because I like him.....but has anyone else noticed that when he talks to players after they make a mistake, the players are like whatever in their demeanor? I noticed it again last night when Wheeler (or whoever it was) got the roughing the passer that gave the Bucs the first down on a 3rd down.

Anyone else notice/worried about this?

Speaking of players, I'm about fed slap up with Wallace! It is blatantly obvious that the guy is just collecting a paycheck. I'm appalled!

Philbin isn't an inspiring figure. He also isn't a fearful figure. With that combination, why would a player care what he says?

The team can't respect him too much. Everyone but Grimes, Tanney, and Matthews came out flat. I knew this would happen. Especially along the d line where Starks chose to look like a beast occasionally last night.

I noticed, but I am not worried because I am incapable of emotion right now. Considering everything that has gone down lately, the sad state of our team and franchise has left me numb and practically catatonic. ;-)

They're done with this whole staff .... and Wallace needs to go.

If they loved their coach, they play hard and disciplined for three hours last night in a huge game.

People said this during hard knocks, and were bashed. He is like watching paint dry. Whenever they show him on the sideline, he looks like a guy who won tickets to an opera, and somehow ended up with a sideline pass to a football game. The stupid confused look on his face says it all. Matched only by the dumb look on our owners face, as his team is not only embarrassing off the field, but on too.

I said to my wife as the Bucs marched down the field on their opening drive that we're going to lose this game. Our team was to emotionless. It had no execution, no energy. No fire from the leader of our team.

This was a defining moment for Philbin IMO. This was an opportunity for him and his staff to keep players focused, and fuel them to a victory. I just don't think he has "it".

Philbin is not a leader of men. Philbin may be a nice guy, may be a decent position coach, but he's no head coach.

He needed to elevate his team like a good general leads troops into battle.

It was sad to see. For the first time I see that he has to go.

We need to clean house.
