Who do you guys feel is responsible for the majority of the Martin hazing?

my guess is cogs, but I could definitely see Pouncey.

Incognito seems to be the guy who runs the pranks... But he seems to do it to everyone, including Tannehill. I think they may dig Martin more because Martin seems bothered by it, rather than taking it in stride like Tannehill does, so it incentivizes them to pick at the scab some more...

If Martin could just learn to laugh it off, it wouldn't be an issue.

Who cares...the only fault is Martin for being a little B about it.

I don't think it's one guy. Nobody has a mental breakdown because of one guy. I think Martin is probably just universally disliked.

i can't believe we are talking about "bullying" in regards to 300lb sunday gladiators. seriously.

Martin is a scrub. Sturgis probably punked him

I lol'd but yeah that dude needs to man up.

They know he's getting T'Hill killed and making their assignments much harder because they are trying to back his ass up. So what seems a joke really isn't as they know he is one of the problems with the O'Line. Behind closed doors I'm sure they talk about him in not so nice terms.

You need standards of professionalism all around -- and I thought that's what Philbin was all about -- but at the same time, you're playing an incredibly violent game in which guys legs are being snapped like wishbones every single week. You can't handle some clowning here and there? Seriously?

If people were really giving him that much of a hard time, I'm not gonna defend that. That's bush league crap. Be better than that. But at the same time, this thing is being so overblown it's absurd.

'Bullying?'

Dude is what, 24 years old? He's 300 pounds. He plays a violent contact sport for a living. This stuff is just bizarre.

Exactly - I thought "bullying" was reserved for grades K-high school? Grown men asserting that they were "bullied" sounds so lame it's pathetic. If it was Sturgis, I might give it a pass but c'mon - this is ridiculous.

Martin's mental toughness apparently matches his physical toughness. Too bad our scouting dept and gm couldn't tell the guy was soft beyond belief. He was a two-time All-American somehow, but I guess the Pac 10 is just amazingly soft.

I don't think Martin ever "asserted" that he was bullied. That's what other people are saying. Also size doesn't matter when it comes to mental abuse.

Maybe, but grown men thinking that picking on another grown man is a fun thing to do ALSO sounds incredibly immature.
