Player who will be a surprise 'cut'

I DON'T think McKinney will get cut......even if Rex wins the starting C spot, McKinney will be a solid backup.
McKinney sucks as a starter, but he's an OK backup....

He stays........this year at least...
 
Kay Jay Harris - although as a UFA it shouldn't be a surprise. A lot of people on this board seem to think he is some stud back. Ronnie and Ricky are locks, Morris can play FB and Minor can do kicks, Gordon has had a great camp thus far. I just don't see a place on the team for Harris who is very one dimensional.
 
I'd say for a suprise maybe Kay Jay. For the obvious I see Lee, Minor (Not Morris, the dude is a ST dream, can play HB and FB, did I mention he was having a good camp on top of all of that?), Mckinney, Whitley, Josh Davis (He can play, but doesn't have NFL speed, maybe a practice sqaud player), Turk (I'd be sad to see him go because he has been such a good punter for us over the years but that kid we got off waivers GEEZ, Just a dog eat dog world), I could see Moore getting cut too.
 
Surprise?

Tebucky Jones? I know we're short on safeties, but I haven't heard a lot of good things about him.

Eddie Moore, Whitley, McKinney, Lee, Minor would not surprise me. Boston, Reggie Howard maybe.

You don't spend a pick next year to cut a guy this year. He is being picked solely on development with some opportunity to contribute this year. Chester is the guy who may be in some trouble.

Surprise cuts by position....

QB - no one
RB - Minor or Harris (who has a lot of fans)
TE - Lee (Ozzy's favorite player)
WR - Gilmore very well could be surplanted by Mann or Davis
OL - McKinney had to take a step back with today's signing; McIntosh

DL - Chester; Traylor
LB - Moore
S - Tillman
CB - Edwards

I am sure there will be more. A better question is who will be surprise roster additions?

It'll be one of those guys who a big fan favorite... Kay Jay Harris maybe. Remember last year's Fred Russell, everyone loved him, he was like the underdog that so many loved. But he ended up getting cut. Man his 80 yd TD was nice, but I think it'll be someone like that.

He did it all for us last year and then some. He was also a ROOKIE.

don't have to be a fan, but hes absolutly the best kick returner we've had in years. and hes making hardly anything. I definitly would be surprised to see him get cut.
