I'm watching the Giants/Patriots week 4 preseason game right how and recently cut running back Andre Brown is flashing some pure running talent to me. He's a former 4th round pick from NC State. He has some size, 6'0, 224 and has more than enough speed. He ran a 4.37 at the combine with a 1.47 10 yard split, both of which are pretty amazing times for a guy that size. He had pretty poor preseason overall, only averaging 3.2 YPC, but a year ago in the preseason he averaged 4.5 YPC. Other running backs interest me more but Brown has some skill.

Edit: He's awful in pass protection, though. No physicality or discernible technique. He also fumbled.

If they're smart, they'll put in claims for RB DuJuan Harris and TE Daniel Hardy. Both of those guys shouldn't have been cut. But then, the Dolphins shouldn't have cut Phil Livas or Quinton Spears, so it's hard to count on them doing the right thing.
