Olino Mare- I liked him and he was good

Adewale Ogunleye- One of my biggest beefs with the fins management
Travis MInor- Great 3rd down back
Rob Konrad - The best fullback we had for a long time
Orande Gadsen- We should have talked him out of retirement
Terry Cousin - Better than what weve had lately
Chris Chambers- Best WR weve had in 10 years
Todd Wade Good starting Tackle that we dont have now still playing
Sage Rosenfels- He would be a good starter now did anyone see him in Texas
Randy McMichael-He was always a playmaker here what were we thinking
Seth McKinney-Now everyone wants him back
Desmond Clark-Anyone remember we had him before the Bears
Terrell Buckley- Pretty good here still had a year or two left
Donald Lee - Another great move
Sammy Knight-Better than what we got now
Marlon Greenwood -Hey he only had 118 tackles last year and 221 the prev 2

I believe all of them still play and contribute to thier team anyone has anoy other player in mind let me know. But my biggest question in the last 5 years is how do you sign Dante Culpepper when Drew Brees in available. We should ahve gotten Brees and the Qb situation would have been takin care of so we could use the draft for real needs. Maybe Ocho Cinco, or TO would have came if if we had a chance to win more than 5 games a year. We have made alot of mistakes in the past 10 years. So lets turn this thing around right now. Starting with Free Agency and the Draft. I am not a believer in Parcells yet either. He has done nothing but give us the best ST ever. Great too bad that doesnt win games. Smiley was a good pick up but we should have got faneca. We have money and there are still alot of players left we could sign . I will believe it wen I see it. But BP hasnt done anything but confuse me at this point. He will probably blow the draft and next year too and then leave us in more turmiol than we are in now. I hope not but he has done nothing to prove differently. Is he getting the rest of the Money we dont spend this year. Is that why hes in the bargain basement signing all of our players. Make some moves and show us that we might win a few games give us a little hope Billy. Maybe not be so quiet about our trade of ***ent Rumors so we can enjoy it. thanks and sorry its so long. I just had a thought about the players we lost that would have helped.

I think you are going to get toasted on this one. You might want to do a little more research before a post like this. For example,

Orande Gadsen- We should have talked him out of retirement

Oronde hurt his ankle, was released by the Dolphins after coming to an injury settlement with them, then came back the following year for 5 or six games and caught like 4 balls over that time span. I don't think talking him out of retirement was the problem. I think it had more to do with him never recovering from the ankle injury. He didn't have much speed to loose.

What exactly are you talking about in regards to Morlon Greenwood? I think you are confusing Dimitrius Underwood with him. Morlon wasn't a bad player for us, actually. He never made big plays, but he was more than serviceable. A lot like what Channing Crowder has been so far, actually. The Texans offered him a big money deal that would have been moronic for the Dolphins to try and match. Same thing goes with Todd Wade.

I do agree with you about the essence of this thread being pretty horrible, though. It is a really bad list of players. Each and every guy on that list had good reasons to not be Dolphins anymore. Whether it was lousy play, not playing up to a level commensurate to their paycheck anymore, getting offered ridiculous money by another team, etc.

Every team in the league has the same list. Really there's only 3 maybe 4 guys I would have kept, Ogunleye,L.Izzo and K.Carter, maybe D.Lee otherwise good riddens. Surtain and Madison were awesome in their prime but we did a good job of saying good bye when their play started to decline.
Saying we should have signed D.Brees is 20/20 hindsight, if you want to look back and say we should have done this or that your wasting your time. You could go through every draft and say that aswell, it doesn't change anything. BP has us heading in the right direction, were not over spending were being smart and the draft will really help to improve our future.

I'll go along with Surtain, Ogunleye and Morlon Greenwood; especially Ogunleye. That was an extremely stupid trade.

This is also a joke. His play decreased dramatically and dropped so many balls I cant count that high. not to mention how many passes were tipped by him and then intercepted, plus, he could not block to save his ***. A true disappointment for what he could have been and a good move releasing him. Not to mention he was due a 3 million roster bonus that he didnt deserve.

We had him for 1 year, he was injured for 5 games and had only 2 catches the whole year. He did not deserve to be retained.
