Which of those linemen are more mobile for a zone blocking scheme? How about the Captain for our other starting CB?

Any 3 0f them & i like the way were heading............

Has Evan Dietrich-Smith signed? If not add him to the list. We could sign him and slide him from center to guard, or play him at center and slid Pouncey to guard. After Strief and maybe Collins he might be the most appealing O-lineman still available. I know there are reports we've talked with Streif, but has anybody heard if we've contacted Collins or Dietrich-Smith?

I like the Captain to cover the slot. Which we need to shut down N.E. If we think Jamar Taylor is ready to handle the outside, I think Munnerlyn would fit well in the slot, and shouldn't be too pricy.

Let's not forget our own... Carrol and Patterson are both still very real possibilities... neither have gotten much attention in the market and could come back at discounts.

Great point. I forgot about Carroll. There was so much scuttlebutt about him and other teams before FA started I just stopped paying attention to him thinking him signing elsewhere was a foregone conclusion. I think even if we do re-sign one of them though we will still pick up a vet CB from elsewhere.

Walter Thurman is an interesting option. Young, played solid when the Seattle guys sat down. Yes, he did get suspended for drugs, I think he was part of the ritalin thing. Not a bad option though for the right price.

I would take a stab at spikes to see what he is looking for. We need to sure up our run defesne and our LB's was a huge problem last season!!

I would also add Wade Smith and Ryan Harris who played for Benton in Houston. I almost expect one of them in here to compete and or be a stop gag.

Keep forgetting Oher is out there. He is a skilled player and we probably wouldn't have to pay too much for him. There's a lot to be said for having guys on the roster who have had the experience of winning a Super Bowl.

I believe Caroll is gone t the eagles......I'd take a look at Spikes....he can tackle....Collins should be the top target tho but he probably wants LT money and he'd have to play RT for us.....should be getting a guard too.

Ozzy rules!!

Michael Oher is terrible. I'd feel terrible if we signed him.

I've said it in other threads, I'd like to see Spikes and Thurmond here.

Carroll actually got quite a bit of interest and signed with the eagles
