``But we know it works, we know we can do it. It was a big step for us last week as far as confidence is concerned, and it's up to all of us to play at the best of our ability and make it work.''
Taylor believes the Dolphins can win their final eight games, and who's to argue? Remember, this is the guy who thought the Dolphins could beat the Bears.
And Taylor isn't the only player who believes the improbable is possible.
''That's the goal,'' offensive tackle Vernon Carey said. ``I hope we can do it. If we do that, it gives us a chance to get in the playoffs, which is what we're trying to do.''
