Jason Ball. I really think the team - read: Wannstedt - let him go way too quickly after the severity of his injury became apparent.

Greg Ruegemmer, that's prolly spelled wrong, but he playled decently in GB.

no way. grey ruegamer has been a lifetime backup. he's only gone in because of injuries. this year he may be the starter at RG after the exit of rivera.

1) I was very sad to see Troy Vincent go. After a decade of dreadful DB play, Vincent was a shining star in our secondary. It was tough to see him go.

2) A guy that I really thought we misused was Lorenzo Bromell. I thought he had the skills to be a pro bowl DE, but JJ and Wanny insisted on using him as an attacking DT on passing downs. Too bad he didnt pan out.

3) Norman Hand, the big DT, also turned out to be a good player that would have fit our front four nicely.

no just anyone you wished would have stayed longer than they did

Troy Vincent!

i have to agree with this one. although it turned out that we wouldn't miss him in the 21st century, prior to the wannstedt era, we could have used vincent. having vincent would have made the 1996-1997 defenses better.

Bromell did play LE. he rotated with Mixon.

True, but Mixon was in on the field for most 1st and second downs.

how about rueben droughns, the running back from denver.

Only played on special team and was released, but imagine if he was that productive for us.

u sure it wasnt ben kelly he had a good game against the pack and dennis miller was calling the game hes like "his foot was on the line his foot was on the line!!" when kelly returned it for a nice gane im not sure it mite of been a TD

He might have been another one injured. I remember like 5 or 6 players with season ending injuries that night alone.

lets see, tyrone Wheatley, Webb, sims, vincent, buckley, byars, drayton, Wade (but who knew?) Fryar, parmalee, oliver, walker, mitchell, Ingram, Cox, armstrong, looking back ... ruddy, and donnally.

Brian Griese...... the dude never got a chance.

God I'm sooo glad Wanny and Jay are gone !!!!!!

I'll agree with the others that said Jed Weaver before. He was a better blocker the mcicheal and it showed when we had both of them on the team in 2002.

However, I think ogunleye belongs on here.
