players that had a short stay in miami that you wish we kept

I know this is the wrong forum, but could someone develope a sig for me. I tried to put on up, but apparantly the size was too big. It did not look anything as big as what I have seen here on this board. Would really appreciate it a bunch. I can be reached at miamidlfin@cox.net. Thanx

Terry Cousins-we could have used him this year and last

Kevin Donnaley-Dude was good. Wanny was a numbnut to let him go.

Richmond Webb-wanted to retire as a phin. Coulda played another year instead of Folau and Spriggs, Wade Smith, etc...

Anthony Carter (wr), we drafted the former Michigan star in like the 12 rd in anticipation of the USFL breaking up. Shula, who I'm guessing had never heard of him traded AC for a LB (sendelien, I believe) before the season. He became their #1 wr and had a 7700 yd career and 55 TDs. Robin Sendelien (sp?) had a short, non-memorable stay here.

Right now, in the Present? Jim Kleinsasser. A real strong blocking H-Back would do the Dolphins good.

Okay, guys who played here 4 years plus really isn't a "short stay" playing here, so guys like Csonka, T-Buck, Troy Vincent, don't count. With those parameters set, about the only guys I can think of that were a real shame to have let get away were Norman Hand and Brian Walker.

what about alonzo mayes he was a way better te than donald lee. the only reason alonzo was a bust he is that he had injury bug but god people this dude was a fire eating tightend that made great catches and was a physical blooker i think he was a victim of wannyisum. and what about te desmond clark man he could catch the ball and run and was another victim of the wannyisum

couldn' think of anybody  , but here's list of people IMO who stayed way too long:

Paul Lankford
William Judson
Tony Martin (i know he left and was actually productive in SD, but was worthless here both times)
Tom Ollivadotti
Tim Ruddy
Jonathan Ogden
Wanny
Our strength and conditioning coach, John Gamble

I think you mean Jeff Ogden, the little white return specialist who was hardly special. Jon Ogden is a good LT who, if we had, probably would never let get away.

As for players that I think should have stayed longer? I owuld vote for Pat Surtain and Larry Izzo. I always liked Izzo.

However, if the world league doesn't come along, Miami may have had a few more championship years in the NFL.

Past= A. Carter was a killer & we drafted TE Pete Mitchell then traded him for a WR (forget his name)that we had cut. Would have loved to see Mitchell play with Marino for some years.

Present=Definitley Griese.
