I think that one of the great things about the rookies we picked is that they have the best in the game to learn from.

Alabi: Will have Houck to groom him.
Vickerson: Will have T-Bow to learn from.
Daniels: Will have Madison to learn from.
Crowder: Will have ZT & Seau learn from.
Roth: Will have JT, Carter and Holliday to learn from.

All our rookies will have players who were great and some who will be going into the HOF to learn from and to refine their game and one day take their starting position. I think this draft will put us in good stead on defense mainly for years to come just like Jimmy did in the mid-late 90's whilst picking up our current group of starters.

You highlighted the most important one... Crowder learning from Zach and Junior.

In terms of playing I think Channing can obviously learn some nuances of the game, but I think he is quite advanced as a player baring in mind he is only 21 and a sophomore. I actually have no concerns abour his ability, I am more concerned about his knees - which I think will be alright, and the giant chip he seems to have on his shoulder.

If I were Nick Saban I would put Channing's locker right between Zach's and Junior's.

I genuinely think he could become a very special player.
