I believe I am in agreement, can't believe I am saying that after two games but it is what it is.

Believing in Campbell is what’s driving the Dolphins.

“I’m not saying the coaching change was the answer to all,” Sheppard said. “But it had a lot to do with it. The way he was able to change the mindset of a group of grown men.

“He gave us the option. You can buy in or you can’t. You choose. We’re going to be out here, we’re going to compete, and you can be the one guy on film not competing or you can be the guy all bought in. It’s a man’s game. He holds everybody accountable and we hold each accountable.”

Landry said the Dolphins are playing “like our heads are cut off.”

“We’re just out there, raw passion, guys just playing fast, knowing their assignment, knowing their details and just going,” Landry said.

There were new shields in the Dolphins locker room on Sunday. One read “Brotherhood: Competitors only.” The other said: “A storm is coming.”

“When coach Campbell took over as head coach, that was one of the first things he said: There’s a storm coming. We’re going to wake these giants up,” Landry said. “So far, so good.”

The Dolphins just hope that storm continues to be navigated by Campbell and without the interim tag.

“Everybody can say — 100 percent — that we want him as the permanent head coach,” Jenkins said.

Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry, who won a SEC title at LSU and went to a national championship game, never experienced 30 minutes of football like Miami’s 41-0 first half thrashing of Houston on Sunday.

“It’s the best half of football I’ve ever been a part of in my life,” Landry said.

Linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, who also went to LSU and won a national title there, won’t go quite that far. But it was close.

“I hadn’t felt that since I was at LSU and this is my fifth year in the league,” he said.

It's about attitude as much as x's and O's.

Well, there is one way I can think of for the players to get that, if that's what they really want.

Time to nut up.

We still have to follow the Rooney Rule and interview a minority candidate....you know we will be fined and lose picks if we don't. :rolleyes2:

I've seen more leadership from Campbell in the past 2 games than I've seen from Philbin in the past 3 1/2 years.

That's a great endorsement, and so far the results have spoke volumes. Campbell is clearly a leader of men. The next few games will prove if he has the other important part of coaching, the Xs and Os.

Just keep winning and playing for 60 minutes. If they do that then it's a given DC will be the full time coaching going forward. Take care of today and tomorrow will work itself out.

Kelvin Sheppard says team would run through a wall for Campbell

Well if they really want him to be head coach next year they need to play their butts off and win games make it so Ross can't replace him

Obviously this is a good "problem" to have, but it's tough to make a call on a guy who hasn't faced any adversity. So far, Campbell's teams have gotten off to big leads and coasted. That likely won't happen in four days. The Dolphins will have to fight and claw for every inch on Thursday, and I want to see how Campbell coaches in that situation. If he responds well and they win, it will speak volumes about his abilities as a coach.

He faced adversity in a big way when he inherited Philbin's team so I would say he's done okay in that regard.

We just led the league in scoring 2 weeks in a row - something I never thought I'd see from the Fins. Campbell's turning this organization around faster than I thought anyone ever could, and even though we're only two games in to his HC career, I'm excited about our future with him and believe he can lead us farther than we've been the past 15 years.
