Help me remember some of those guys that made it other places but didn't make it in Dolphin camp. Probably one of the more notable names is Quarles, the linebacker from Vandy, who didn't make it at Camp Shula, but went on to have a good career with the Bucs. Another name that comes to mind is Atari Bigby, who starts for Green Bay. And Ethan Albright has been in the league some time as a long snapper and OL. Please dig your memory and come up with some names.

GEEEEEZZZZ........

your talking a pretty long list, even just going back 5 years!

if you took all of the players who succeeded elswhere over the
last 10 years you could put together 2 quality teams with decent
reserves!

not good.

the lack of people in this organization from scouts to gm's to coaches
on down just have been ATROCIOUS at recognizing talent and worst
of all, the inability to develope it when they have it over the last 10
to 12 years.

all of that SHOULD change with this regime.

devin aromashado(sp?) WR that we drafted in the 7th round a couple years ago. ive read that indy likes him pretty well. he may suceed there.

I remember he ran a 4.37 forty.Just another example of poor coaching and GM calls that have been to much of our past.

Hopefully our WRs will step up this year considering they should have more time to run there routes and our QB should have more time to throw.

I could put up quite an impressive list.. But I just don't feel like delving into it as it's rather despressing to think about.

What is amazing is the longevity of some of these scouts and coaches (e.g., Phillips). I am not saying I didn't like Mel, but he sure did stay a while. I will say this without wavering. Miami had some of the worse scouts in the league over the last 10 years, but one could argue that the front office/coaches may have been responsible and possibly ignored their choices. The year Dave took the Tenn. linebacker in the second I think I heard where he ignored a lot of the scouting reports. And if that is the case, then a better reflecting comment would be that the Dolphins had the worse cohesion in terms of making personnel decisions.

Brendon Ayanbadejo , i think we brought him in from the CFL and then traded him to chicago where he's gone to the pro bowl in 06 and 07....
Yeah, the only Fin memory of him is that pick that he got from Tom Brady sitting on his butt courtesy of JT. That was a great Monday Night.

Sage Rosenfels we let go when he signed as a free agent with the Texans a couple years ago. The Vikings offered a 3rd round pick to the Texans after the season for Rosenfels and the Texans said they wouldn't take less then a 2nd rounder for him. But we just let him go for nothing.

No one has mentioned Chris Gray yet. Dude has been a solid starter for the Seahawks but was an absolutely failure here in Miami. He hasn't missed a game since 1999.

I was always wondering if that was the same chris gray.

Remember that San Fran game where the first 3 snaps were 3 sacks.

All on him I think!

There are a lot of former dolphin QB's still in the league.

Just think if Jimmy Johnson had kept Jeff Garcia around, and we didn't have to waste all those picks on QB's.

DT Norman Hand was cut and went to a pro-bowl with the chargers. DT Fred Evans is with the vikings, I think. We know about all the dolphins who went to the Patriots.

The list is pretty long.
