Channing Cowrder- Does any body remember the last time this guy made a big time play in a game he does nothig but fall on people that have already been tackled

Matt Roth-he plays alright against the run but man he is an awful passrusher

Renoldo Hill -this guy puts no fear into the hreat any of the qb

Other the those i believe the jury is still out on some players like Carey , Satele etc
 
I agree, Crowder does not make enough plays to warrent a new contract. Bell should be resigned though. Carey I thought played well too. Matt Roth made plays.
 
No starter will be benched, unless replaced by a free agent pick-up or drafted player.

At 19 how much could you possibly know about stuff like this, really?
 
So, what does it say about our pass rush when Matt Roth, the awful pass rusher, was second on the team in sacks?

As for Hill, the coaching staff credited his leadership and communication for the turnaround of the secondary during the season. I think he'll be back. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone drafted to push him, but I think they re-sign him.

carey has been very inconsistent this year. matt roth sucks.....
 
Crowder does what he is suppose to. Which tackle. He does this very well. After seeing Roth literally get DRAGGED by a rookie QB and could'nt complete the sack. Roth should be gone. That was terrible. He got dragged!!! Hill aint nothing special. Satale needs to leave. He has horrible snaps.

Crowder needs to stay, anyone with a decent knowledge of the game of football understands his importance to our defense.

19 years of watching football and 10 years of playing it.

O and i believe TED Ginn is fine hes just not a number 1 but he is a real threat as a number 2 guy
and im am not a fan of roth we need anthoer guy who can rush the passer and he cant.

easy one yes. wrong one yes. football knowledge doesnt have an age requirement. its funny, i learned a lot about football since i was 19, but there were tons of "older" fans on here and ESPN boards i knew far more then at 19.

And you should talk ive seen some of your posts you talk as if you were the GM or the coach just as much as anybody else on this fourm. What makes you any better then me.

So, we need a weakside ILB who makes no big plays, often fills the wrong hole, and is always a step or two late on every play? That first TD run by McClain was a classic example of why Crowder just isn't that good. That was his gap, and he completely overran it. He does that a lot. Crowder is a great athlete, and uses his athleticism to make up for a lot of his mistakes. And he was our best option for the "Mike" LB (yes, there is a Mike LB even in the 3-4). But, the defensive scheme is designed for the Mike to lead the team in tackles. It's what's supposed to happen at the position. And you could replace Crowder with a more instinctive player, and get a lot more production.
